My friend, I completely understand you because Im pretty similar, but loose all faith, it's not going to happen. Several reasons:
1) Rendering is extremely slow. Consider that you have 2 RTX 4090, the last model, and you have 2 of those. An open public space with several characters, takes like 30 minutes to render. Then you see something is wrong, and you have to correct and rerender. Everything is FUCKING slow.
What happens is that the storyline and storyboard you would write gets completely fucked up. You have to cut scenarios and scenes drastically, so that hits really bad the story development.
2) This games are mostly played by very young people who want to masturbate. The attention span is very low, the urges for sex are incredibly high. Think that most people will watch the novel with "skip text ON", full Ctrl, until the sex scene with their dicks already on hand. That forces devs to include several sex scenes per update, even if they fit the narrative or not, and that makes the story be rushed and stupid.
3) You dont have time to build empathy for the characters, they have to overact like whores and sluts. As you see more and more characters who are only sex dolls, you start to develop some sort of sociopathy, you stop caring about them, they are sex dolls, not "humans".
4) There is a hoeflation. Update 1: masturbation. Update 2: hj/bj. Update 3: Vaginal sex. Update 4: Anal sex. Now what? More characters, bigger cocks, more cocks, more aggresive, more submisive, more humilliation. The inflation is one directional. Add that you don't care anymore about the human side of characters, they are just sex dolls, and that brings most novels to insane levels of stupidity, making everything unreal and unnatural.
5) As this progression happens slowly as you watch more and more of this "novels", the brain starts to internalize, uses relativization, amplification, lucifer effect, etc... and then you are just craving for more and more unreal stories, and when someone claims some realism or claims that nothing like that happens at all IRL or very very very extremely rare in very small niches, you just look like the weird guy stopping the party, will be labeled as hater, so the author wont follow your advise.
At the end of the day, this porn adult game "industry" has become its own internet black hole of weirdness, where things are far gone in deviation, and I dont see any inmediate light to bring it out of the current state. It is just quick fap for teenagers as brutal and abusive as posible, nothing else. Acept it or quit.
I personaly considered writting a more realistic slow paced novel, with a real "good side" worth the effor and a "corruption part" not so rewarded (not punished also), as a differentiation of every novel doing the same. I quit the idea, technical reasons, and I don't see a business for that at all. The overall mental state of this place shows me the consumers are far gone from that novel angle and I'm not going to contribute to more mental damage with the current type of novels written.
