Maybe someone ask already, but i'll ask again - what colored balls do? Like, they're everywhere in the lab, but i don't find place where i can use it. And maybe someone know how increase time in dream?

No, your health stat was too low. You only get that end gate if your health is too low.
Anyhow, I gave up on the game. I was just sleeping over and over again trying to finish the puzzles but the randomized drops make everything a true chore. It's so nonsensical. Inventory space too small. Clunky gameplay. But interesting premise.
It remembers me of Project Kat/Paper Lily. If you liked this game, or to the very least liked how it feels, then give Paper Lily a try (not a hentai game, no sex scenes). It's also directly inspired by Yume Nikki. Also cryptic but not even close to this, since it has a more or less linear gameplay.

About balls, i assume this is placeholders for the future items, so there is no purpose to collect them now.
To increase time in dream you need to visit the store. At the top left corner woud be a shelves with medicines. There is a few type of medicine, which increasing you time inside dream, but also lowering some of stats.

Having to redo the enormous lab/mansion level I was in due to a crash is absolutely ridiculous though. Manual saves mostly exist to combat frustration from death/crashes in games as they bookmark your progress, this isn't polished enough to warrant the current system.
I don't want the developer to feel bad about this feedback, I just wanted to be honest about my experience because it was pretty frustrating. The game expects a lot of investment but it's unfair to expect players to give it that and put up with the very punishing save system considering it's in a WIP state without the necessary polish yet.
Edit: I'd like to say that the story seemed interesting and the concept definitely has potential with a little more tweaking, so you're on the right track. I'm sure it'll evolve with time.

tbh if people just wanna indulge in this fetish/niche, the whole keeping your stats high is actually a hassle, but then we have the needle option to bail but need to suffer the consequences (low hp) too so idk

Yea I'm not sure if being cryptic can mesh well with making a game people play to crank one out.
Bugs:
The Quality 3 and 4 recipes give body+sanity and stamina points respectively.
The passage of time seems odd when coming home from places. I don't know if this is intentional or not.
Ex.:
Going to shop 1 dot.
Coming back from shop 5 dots.
Total time cost of shopping 6 dots.
Saving game 5 dots.
Triggering Kari's yellow eye convo in the school has her talk like you're in the cafe.
Character comments:
Can't wait to see the green ghost possession implemented in the conversations with them and how it'll change stuff.
I hope the player's eyes flash green when it tries to hijack a response, like when the stun is triggered.

I must be stupid because, when I launch my game, the characters are necessarily male whereas I would like to play a woman. Is there a way to explain how to change sex because I can't find a way to do it? thanks in advance

Otherwise I don't see how people can use the filter to distinguish games with optional vs mandatory M2F content, Which is really annoying especially when everything else about the game is otherwise exactly what you are looking for.
Considering the creator has stated they hated most M2F games they have played which they clearly wanted to enjoy that might give cause to feel more sympathetic towards the unintended audience they unintentionally attracted. Also I wonder what they meant by they "would not have a female protagonist for the story", That's an interesting thing to say to the many non-fans of M2F who would say that the stories for many M2F games would have enhanced the content if only the protagonist was a woman.

Just putting male protagonist would be incorrect.
There are no tags for M2F, you can transform into the "female protagonist".
So the Dev can only put closest to whats currently in the game from available tags.

Using the male protagonist with the trans protagonist and transformation tags would be accurate, However because trans is a combined tag of futa and trans there are still filtering issues however it would still be an improvement overall.

Ok, I guess it's time talk about this again.
The original demo was proof of concept. I had a bunch of sprites and animations I wanted to showcase that I painstakingly stitched together into something resembling a game.
It was the first time I tried making a game. I had no idea what I was doing, how I should advertise it, who the intended audience was, what to expect. Nothing. In that sense it's completely true - the game wasn't intended to be M2F. It wasn't intended to ne anything. And since it didn't have a plot, the gender didn't matter either.
That was 3 years ago. Where have you been all this time to now pop up and be surprised the game isn't turning out the way you want?
The moment you introduce context, things like gender start to matter. I could NOT write anything remotely competent with a gender neutral protagonist. Writing is hard enough as is for me, without resorting to esoteric techniques.
Could you write 2 routes one for male and one for female instead? Sure, you can also make 2 different games, or 20. If it's not apparent I barely have time to work on one.
Could you make a game without a plot and characters? Yes, but it's uninteresting to me. The fetishes I like live and die through social interactions. Even pregnancy. A game that has no characters to acknowledge changes makes the changes meaningless. I won't force myself to make something I can't enjoy myself.
I'll go a step further. You can blame Magical Camp for being one of the 3 games directly responsible for this project existing. It was proof of concept to me that it is possible to make a game about feminization that I could personally enjoy. Without it this project would have never went past the showcase stage.
And by extension Coffee Story Extra would also not be made, because I would simply lack the resources for it.
I've added a freeplay mode. All it does is removes all story and character interactions and changes the protagonist to female from the start.
I don't know if I'm making things better or worse, since I clearly didn't attract the audience I wanted.
At the moment the only way you get to access this is by setting "story" to 0 in the config.ini

That's nonsensical. The group you're talking about doesn't like M2F content in general. I just don't like most M2F games.
Because the story isn't about a protagonist that gets turned into a donkey. It's about a male protagonist that gets feminized, has to deal with it and find a way to turn back. If you cut it out there's almost no story left. Certainly no character development.
Name 5 M2F games that you think would have a better story if the M2F component was removed.

A supporter once sent me a message that it felt weird that Kari signed up the protagonist for the pregnancy program. That it was out of character. It completely blew my mind as I couldn't refute it at the time.
Again, I don't consider current time consumption a bug. Why do you think this is a problem?
