Somebody messed up...V022 is expanding the open world part of the game. So the hint is correct in what you must do. Her is my just finished enriched walkthrough, so you get an start on what to do first.
Not possible. Even if someone manages to decode the file structure -- and AFAIK nobody has done that yet -- you end up with lost of files. This game is 2.5D so it uses multiple images to create the 3D effect. I don't think it will be fun to browse to literally thousands of images which are almost the same...
See the FAQ made by sabbathfun -- link in my signature -- or read the whole first post of this thread to get the link to the MEGA folder. The torrent is just the game, the MEGA folder has a separate download for the savegames.
@sabbathfun could you expand the CG question with the information I give above. Technically a CG rip should be possible. However nobody -- and I searched the internet -- has discovered the file dormat. And even if someone did you end up with all the frames used in an animation...

i also play on Linux, i'd love to test itI've permission from Nenad to spread the small (~16 MiB) tar I made which can convert the Windows download to a Linux version. It is in alpha state because I'm at the moment the only one who tested it

If it is a v022 save -- started with one of the developer or from the beginning -- you can upload it here so I can check some things. If it is a save from an older version, don't bother...

Just a half a centimeter below where the cursor is in your screendump. It is the brownish spot at the bottom of the candle...
Ignore the strange windows up the left corner. It is a bug and nobody seems to know why this is only happening with the newer saves Nenad provided.
