To people who have being following this game from the beginning, should I play this? Is it fun? Opinions please?

Play it. I only started playing when 0.6 was released, expecting it to have a passable story with nice fantasy elements (which I tend to be a sucker for) and with some decent renders. It has ended up as my favorite game by far. It truthfully is unhealthy how much I enjoy this game. Play it.
I came in 2 - 3 updates ago but honestly the story in this game can pass for an anime story easily. Only thing I kind of dislike personally is the lewd scenes because the animations feel really weird once they speed up. That and well the way they are introduced feels like a cop out and a easy way to have them baked into the plot. But that is just me personally it's a great game honestly.
amazing power fantasy/abilitys/scaling, amazing story, amazing LI's, great humor, good amount of content already, very fast updates (8 in 1 year!!!)

Play it pretty sure you will enjoy and love it. When I first seen it thought to myself I'll try it, wasn't expecting much and figured it would be a game I tried and just moved on. Needless to say I was hooked and never looked back it became one of my favorite games and I look forward to each and every update

tl;dr: best cameo ever
I have to say that Moon's cameo in Companion of Darkness is my most favorite avn cameo of all time!
Not only do we see Moon which is always appreciated in itself already but her whole displayal is very alike with her my bully is my lover style and attitude. Even in a world filled with overwordly beings Moon is just a fucking dangerous badass!
And the CoD MC watching her fight and being able to learn/copy her moves/skillset was just amazing and gave the cameo a real and deeper meaning compared to usual cameos.

At first it's bother me too but I get used to it.

if it's someone new then idk yet to play the update myself but if it's a cameo character it's most likely Moon from my Bully is my lover
Its the latter and due to ciarara's percetion mc is able to instantlearn/duplicate Moon's ninja moveset and swordplay

Finally started this.
I've seen people say on games here before they are here for the story and I've always disagreed. I'm a balance on 50/50 Lewds to story guy. Quite picky. This is one of the first games where I actually don't want most of the Lewds or harem. (Which are my main thing!) Got surprisingly dragged into the storyline and characters. I love Noel. Only in chapter 6 at the moment but really good stuff.

Yeah I don't play these games for lewds at all , unless im bored and want to mix things up then yeah i'll play something that I figure be more on the porn side of things but that's not to often. I mostly play these games for the characters and story. I actually dislike all the lewd scenes in this game. For me it felt like a easy cop out / way to bake them into the story + when an animation seems decent the dev has the speed of the animation increase, which just ruins the animation for me personally. As I find with the speed increase it makes everything look either to funny or weird. But honestly all that aside this game can honestly be made into an anime easily I like the story that much.

Chapter 8 was great, but over much too soon. I had to revisit my rating and up it to five stars. Moon doesn’t appear in four star productions, after all.
