So fairly annoying thing with daz, at least with most clothing assets, is the lack of 'off figure' morphs. Often you might have a scene, where characters are undressing and then you are left with no other option, than just deleting the clothes, which can ruin the immersion a bit. Sometimes you can get away with adding dforce to the piece of clothing and just letting it fall to the ground, but often the result won't look so nice, or the simulation just blows up.
Either way, if you want to put a bit more effort into it, or just achieve some specific effect, it's not really that hard. I made quite a few morphs for clothing assets I use most often, so here's a quick how to and some examples of use.

Examples:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

How to create the basic morphs:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

General use with d-force:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

More interesting use:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

And that's it, fairly simple way to make your scenes a bit more immersive, or do a bit more unique renders not that many people using daz alone could achieve. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Yes it does, but OP is describing a way to export object from Daz, use blender to do basic mesh manuipulation, then reimport to daz and finish the job with Dforce cloth sim. So that you can then render in Daz without having to go through the pain of exporting and recreating your scenes/assets/props/environments in Blender.
