I reached out to this person yesterday to ask for work examples to see if they would be a fit for a project I am working on, or if I would be willing to recommend them to other developers based on their skill level.

they sent back a response that they are not interested in the project without even hearing the details or having a discussion. When I replied to say that I hadn't even discussed the project details, payment, or anything at all, they replied again to say "it isn't furry enough."

It is solely my opinion that you should not bother reaching out to this person. if they were serious about finding a job they would not decline the project entirely prior to hearing about it.

Sorry I was not professional enough. I had personal reasons to decline due to the plot of the game.

If you just need help with code/design send me some code snippets or source files.

We have not discussed the plot of the game. I didn't give you any detail, at all, about the project before you declined for not being furry.

I stand by my comment. You do not seem to be someone I would trust working with based on our interactions so far.

I apologize, as I'm not trying to attack you in any way, but as this part of forum is essentially a marketplace, this is my way of leaving a review.

Best of luck
