On the topic of credit card censoring, here's some relevant links for anyone unhappy with what is happening:

The first pertains to a petition, the second to a bill that supposedly will address credit card overreach.
I just grabbed whatever top search links I could to generally describe things.
I'm not overly informed myself, but planning to read up on both when I get a chance.
I'd imagine calling companies / politicians is probably the most effective measure simply because it's annoying though haha. Squeaky wheel gets the grease and all that.
Edit: And of course, if anyone thinks they have links to better news articles, feel free to share. I didn't spend much time on this.
Edit: The bill itself can be found here:

I'm curious about the below segment though. What defines a risk based standard?
(8) when a bank predicates the access to financial services of a person on factors or information (such as the lawful products a customer manufactures or sells or the services the customer provides)
other than quantitative, impartial risk-based standards, the bank has failed to act consistent with basic principles of sound risk management and failed to provide fair access to financial services;
Edit: Oh there's a whole thread with people talking about the topic on f95 too. Seems like a lot of it is arguing about who is responsible though.
