I think he used to render in 1080p and then upscale It. Not sure if his process changed lately.

If I'm not mistaken PleasedbyViolet explained that the release will always 30 fps, then up to the fans if they wanna interpolate

So just to be clear, The 4k is upscaled, but it is done by the artist, and the increased FPS is interpolated and done by the community.

I was just going through the "Juno's Initiation" set of videos and seems to me, that while the 4k versions do look better, when "pixel peeping" there seems to be decrease in image quality in the 4K60FPS versions.

Additionally, the 4k60Fps versions have increased exposure/brightness, further decreasing image quality. At least to me.

Any thoughts?
