Huh? It's simply an undefined variable, not system specific. Heck, I have fixed those sorts of errors as they're fairly common. Simply define the variable.
Probably a default setting for it is needed (common error). A simple... "$ day_period_tint = False" or "define day_period_tint = False" or whatever default value it should have inserted somewhere.

Thats often a Mac error, I am not quite sure why. Without it being really a undefined variable. I saw that multiple times now. Always with Mac compressed the full version usual works fine (as well as the PC and compressed PC versions)

I just downloaded the latest version. Downloaded the patch, crashed. Downloaded the full version, crashed.
The Dev needs to learn to TEST his game BEFORE he releases them, not AFTERWARDS!
Anyhow, I made a temporary fix to his code for my error anyhow. I'll attach it for anyone else interested. Just copy it into the "game" folder.
Save this as "screen_001.rpy".

well when i played this game long ago i had this bug, i think it got fixed in later versions tho.
what i did was whenever you sleep and then day proceeds then you lose all the ui interactions so you cant get out of the bed, in that moment i saved the game then loaded the save file again and i got back all the ui interactions again with player out of the bed.
