You are free to believe in whatever you want to believe in. In the meanwhile, you might want to check previous posts and find out how many updates the Author released in the latest years.
The Author's last post on Patreon was on December 21. The Abandoned tag makes sense in this case.

if he would've followed the carbon blue example of a few sample renders and posts every few weeks he could go more than a year between updates all while saying the update is soon [like cb did more than a year ago]
just sayin'

At that point I had even forget this game existed.
Unless you remind me you exist with an update time to time, either I forget you or I think you just abandoned it like other very good game I know the name but no update in year

Capella if one day you read this, i agree with the above poster, you should posts more in patreon. Posting more regularly on patreon is attractive to people that happened to just find your game these days and then clicked your patreon link.

Some people check how often devs posts to gauge the possibility of a game being continued or abandoned.
On top of that, some people when they click latest updates on f95, maybe they filter with excluding abandoned tag, and if they do that, right now, your game wouldn't even be discovered by them.

I don't filter abandoned tag on f95, but i do check how often a dev post on patreon before subscribing. And you post very little, it would not be attractive to some people and i for one want to see your game succeed tbqh
