Lol yeah I know I'm pressing Option+M, afaik that's the alt on a Mac
Ok, Option+M should be the right combination, but I've never tested it myself, so I'm not 100% sure if it works at all on a Mac. So let me ask you another question, which doesn't seem to be very obvious: you actually have to be in the game (not in the start menu) before the ALT+M (or Command+M) does work, but you already know that, right?

And last: what game are you trying to use URM with, so I can test whether it works at all?

Yeah, I'm in game, and no other combos have worked. I'm currently playing The Assistant, the game thread is where I found out about the URM

Hello, is there a way to save search result into a txt, xml or any kind of text file?

There are search results as array/list/dictionary with 100+ items in array with 50+ items in array with 20+ items in like situations. cant add them into variables section one by one. it takes days to expand them one by one and add. Also bigger the array is slower the process of expanding, collapsing, scrolling down/up etc. you got what i mean. With external text file we can find whatever we are looking in that hay stack nor structure of it.

Also we cant do a search based on (for example):
there is a class named Player and it has an attribute (single or list or array) named roles.
Player.Roles cant do that search.

I can do a search like *Roles* but result of this is not what I need.

Regards. Thank you for your time.
I'm planning on changing the way lists, dicts and other objects are presented in the search. That should help

So I'm playing a game on Mac and when it launched it indicated that the mod was installed, but pressing ALT-M does nothing. Not sure what to do in this case
I'll have to check and will get back to you.
UPDATE
I've tested this on a virtual MacOs (Ventura) machine and Option+M opens te mod for me.

I've just published 1.15.2 bèta. This contains these changes:
  • Added option to cancel skipping on path detection
    • So when for example you are holding the Ctrl key and a path is detected it will stop skipping
    • Can be enabled/disabled under Options > Notifications
  • Fix: Prevent self-voicing of URM screens
  • Fix: Prevent original textbox/dialogue from briefly appearing in certain cases
  • Fix: URM scaling issue if game's resolution is set late
  • Fix: Don't show tooltips from outside of URM inside URM
You can get it on or through the mod's built-in update feature (you need to have the update channel set to "bèta").

That's bizarre, I'm not sure why mine isn't popping up. I know it's installed because I got the in-game message, so I'm gonna try updating the mod and see what happens

Maybe the URM settings file with touch control enabled will help you
on windows it is in "C:\Users\(name)\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\0x52-URM"
And in which folder in MacOs to put it, you will have to figure it out yourself.
don't forget to unpack it.

Hey, I just wanted to point out that whatever the reason for my games crashing on launch in 1.15.1 is no longer an issue with the new beta. I just re-downloaded 2 of them and both launched, popped in 1.15.1 and crashed on launch as before. I know I'm an outlier but thought it worth mentioning. (y)

I keep getting the update window even after installing the update. What happened was I click install update --> Game reloads script --> Update window pops up again, indicating the same mod version to be updated.

Are you talking about this window?

I agree, this can be confusing, because it says "Update available!" as well as "Latest version: N/A", although you've just installed the update. It would be better if this window was saying something like "Update installed successfully!". In any case, the update worked perfectly fine on my end.

There was a version (1.10) where the self-update failed and "looped", so if you've still installed 1.10 of URM and are trying the in-game self-update, it probably won't work.

No, rather I keep getting the "update loop" problem. It happened since 1.13 to 1.14 and now 1.14 to 1.15 as well. I did not use 1.10 before.
