The character model is very attractive as is the clothing selected, however the lighting setup and the background is letting you down a little. Based upon looking at the image alone and the reflections off the dress, you can tell the lighting is a pair of emissive spheres:
- White sphere behind and left of the camera
- Pink sphere behind and right of the camera

With the lighting setup, the contours of the face are not easily distinguishable. As some advice, look into the 3 point light setup, combined with a darker background. Essentially leave the white light where it is, move the pink light behind and right the character and create a lower intensity white light where the pink light was (perhaps positioned a little lower). Then substitute the background with a darker background or simply adjusts it's base colour. The advantage of this is that the character jumps out in the image and the back light (pink) serves to differentiate it from the dark background.

In terms of backgrounds there are many options. Essentially anything with some colour variation that is out of focus as a result of using depth of field on the camera will make the scene a little more interesting.
Thanks for the tips , i will try that ;)

it's all good(y), but those cartoon candles in the foreground and the fireplace ? using DOF and bloom would solve these problems...
and Yes, I'm a fan of camera angles and camera settings...a little more to change and it will be fantastic:love:
And i'm totaly weak with DOF ;) i'll try something

Something doesn't look right with eyes / smile, don't know exactly what. Great boobs btw.
Thanks. I believe It's that Stupid DAZ bug where it doesn't set the eyes after loading if you used Point At. I left the smile from the previous renders. I should have tweaked them a bit.

Here's one I'm pretty happy with. Took about 30 min to render, plus a few minutes in post. Will hopefully be the first page of a comic. In this frame one of our leads, Mac, arrives in the settlement Alpha on the planet Kepler 1. He's ready for his security rotation on the important trade hub, but his easy assignment is going to be anything but.

A lot of work with dForce. It's very difficult to make dForce interract with another figure (the hand's + dress) AND boat + back of the dress.
A lot of (long) simulations to do this render.
It's very long to do this, but I love the pic.
(I think I could do a render with more depth of field)
