3.0.5 has been available on github for the past 11 hours. Anyone who can build it may choose to do so now.

It IS an update. All these X.5 updates are previews. Alpha early access if you like.
I mean, it says right there, in the top of the window.
Also, "progress update" is just a name of the article, lol.
Does anyone have the latest update/preview compiled as an exe? I tend to have problems when I try to compile it for java on my own.

No it's not, also that's the dev's build, not the public build, she still hasn't released the 0.3.0.5 version.

Not sorry to dispute and correct you, but this is directly from Inno's Blogspot.
I've pushed my progress to the public github's dev branch, so you can build it from there at any time. (The master branch is being kept at v0.3, so make sure you're building from dev.)
As you can see Inno has made the 3.0.5 update available if you want to build it yourself vie github. Her Monday update will be an updated list of targets she wants to complete before the full 3.1 release.

Look at the side in HER Blog site, there IS NOT 0.3.0.5 versions to download to be ready to use, what she posted up, is for anyone who wants to build the new version of the game up and tests them out, if they want to, but it's just a devs/master's build, not the actual public build, the actual public build to use, won't be available till much later on, probably till this coming up Friday, also look at the right hand side in her Blog, she marks things off, as she finishes them, so that tells you, when we'll have the public build.

Dude are you that damn blind!?
AKA Meaning, WILL breaks the game and is ONLY half ways completed to the v0.3.1.0 version of the game! She's trying out something new, if you are ever in her Discord server like I am, she tells more info in there to others, then what's been said in her Blog and GitHub as well, the whole vX.X.X.5 version, is something to gives to the public, somewhat, a way to tests out the new content she just added to the game, so she can gets the info from people finding out the bugs in the game.
Also I just got done talking to her in a DM from her Discord server, there are reasons why the #2 and #3 are still haven't crossed off of the list, since she's still working on the map and bugs problems of the v0.3.0.5. she knows what she's doing with this, you don't, also about the vX.X.X.5 version thing that she's is gonna start doing, is to make sure that the vX.X.X.X version of the game, have almost all of its bugs out of the game's system, witch means that, the updates will be far and few between, but with more content in them, since many on her Discord server, are asking for huge content updates, even if the updates are few in between, at least the game final public vX.X.X.X version, will be the most stable usable version, with very little bugs in them, there have been votes going on in her Discord server, that most people want it this way.

I read the post and it is not a simple update. If you read the directions link she gives it involves downloading software, it is not a simple copy paste update, or ready to play version. I am not shy of trying new software, however it looks a lot more involved than it is worth for the amount of new content, I'm just going to wait myself. From what I read the only ready to play version is on patreon for patrons. DLSmaster is right also, it is far from a complete version, can't use world map yet, only some behavior changes in a couple of characters and a lot of talk about new positioning for taurs and stuff related to taurs.

Actually I see quite well and you proved my point in your own argument. A Preview Release is still a release. The X.X.5 releases are always alpha releases the you need to build yourself via Github unless you are a patron via Patreon. The official public releases are always released through her Blogspot. So the fact that there is a new version build-able through Github means Inno has released 3.0.5.
