I haven't played this since 2.1 and tried to download and fire it up this morning. I can load up saves in 2.1 that are in my www/save folder in the game folder, but a save folder isn't being made in 2.3.
I went to appdata/collegelife and dropped save files in there (I downloaded the file40rpg save posted here from 2.2 as well to see if my files were the problem) and those files aren't being read. I can make a new game and save files from that game, but it won't read any of my old files.
Anyone have any idea on what I'm doing wrong here or what the problem is? I really have no interest in grinding this game out again from scratch.

Thanks for that link, I hadn't read the 2.2 change log. I had essentially followed those directions however. I'll mess around with the global/config and see what pops up from that.

I can’t seem to get the new Joan event to trigger. I’ve stayed with her a couple nights in a row, and we went on another date. All during the week, not sure if that matters. Granted I purposely didn’t ask her to shave. It’s a personal preference thing. (I don’t want anything to do with a vagina that looks like it belongs on an 8 year old.) Trimming down there is fine, but shaving completely is creepy, and real turn-off.
Can the new content trigger if I skipped the shaving step?

The save files you guys share don't have global.rpgsave and config.rpgsave, so they don't work

I have seen other people port the games to different things not sure on android or the other types as I use PC only.
First thing I had to do was search for where the fuck the new save folder was located at. To find it hit R + the windows start key on the keyboard and type in appdata and hit ok. Once done look in the local folder for the college life folder you might have to first have to start a new game and do a save to get the folder to appear. Then copy and paste the save files from the save folder and paste them into the college life folder.

I named the MC Bastard in game so Joan's nickname is pretty funny in some spots.
Only scene I haven't been able to trigger yet is the go out with Jane one.
