anyone got a save? cant seem to get this step to happen:

440. Make sure John is not at home, you have done the threesome with Janice and Emma (step 165) and you have completed the progression with Rachel (up to step 407).
On Tuesday go to the living room and wait for Janice and Emma. Janice shows Emma the necklace Jason gave her as a birthday present. Emma takes a closer look.
She recognizes it as her stolen necklace and realizes that Rick is not the one who stole it. Jason confesses to be the thief and apologizes. Emma is not mad at Jason.
Janice suggests to go out tonight and forget about everything. Janice is mad at Jason.
REALLY... 956 pages of searching and no one gives an answer to this question?

Let me ask this question, what is the required trigger for this scene?

How is this game to play without a walktrough? the (tasks & journal) tab isn't that much helpful. I don't really like walktroughs to be honest but it's also irritating being left kinda clueless.

Sadly KST doesn't really focus on dialogs and storydesign, so the whole game is pretty "bad" in terms of playability. A lot of stuff takes place either somewhat random and with little to no real hints. If you really want to play it without walkthrough it's going to be a lot of repitition/trial and error.

Thanks. I'll stick with it for now I guess. The Walktrough provided here looks awfully chaotic though.

It kind of is, but you can make it less chaotic by hitting the return key before each numbered section.
I know it seems pointless, but by making it easier to read, it makes it infinitely easier to follow.

Hi guys,

I have a somewhat unusual technical problem. So, please bear with me. I am using a remote desktop connection and there, rotating the camera does not work. Most likely, this is because of the way KsT has implemented the Right-Mouse feature, see e.g. or

Does anyone of you know, whether there are keys to rotate the camera? Or is there a chance to reach out to KsT to ask him to implement either rotation keys or a Mouse-Capture solution that works also for remote connections?

Wow... I didn't imagine just "how" random this game is. I've just started this game and I've encountered scenes I guess which weren't even part of the Walkthrough at the start. And at the same time I'm not even sure any more if I should stick with the Walkthrough, since it feels like things will just happen along the way if I continue playing randomly. The only thing that kinda bothers me are those "reputation" points. I dislike cheating in games so I didn't even bother opening that console but It's really hard to guess in which way you can continue to get those points, because at some point you won't receive them any more from that particular action.

The dev should really consider adding more user friendly hints to the game or something like that.

When you're no longer getting points for a particular action, it's time to go to the next action. Many versions ago, the walkthrough did have that information, in pretty explicit detail - Point thresholds and peaks for the various interactions.

That, and majorly rework the randomisation for things.
They reached the point of being "too random" and made them into a grind.
