Whenever i start the game, the start menu is black, the only visible thing is the version number, by clicking around i can start the game, but i still can't see anything, no idea what to do. [Using the win32 version]

Thanks...There's a updated walkthrough?I don't know how to rise submission.It is in 180
There's a few things you can do, like, fail the tanning thing enough times that you unlock the ability to just do lewd stuff.
You can get help from the guy when you gotta wash the pot and after a few scenes you get a submission option from him or fail that and get the scenes with old lizard lady.
Hmm.. there's also the random waterfall scene, you can give that guy a blowie and it'll raise submission, alternatively use a save editor which is your best bet because GOD is it annoying to raise stats significantly.

<- Just open up your LOK save file which should be in C:\Users\[You]\AppData\LocalLow\LOK Team\LOK Rebirth
Open the .sav file and then CTRL+F "Respect" and it'll be the first result, "Lust" and it will also be the first result.
"Submission" which is Obedience is different but you can look through the results and it'll be next to "SubmissionLevel."
Edit them to whatever you want, which should be the max since it doesn't change anything right now except unlock things, and make sure you edit the Level thing as well, so "Lust=499" should be followed by "LustLevel=4"

I hope this makes sense I'm really tired. Lol.

You can raise your stats in the game. At the computer at the start of the game, there is an option to cheat. This also allows you to skip an early section of the game.

That's right but the person who asked was already in-game and quite a bit far in, at that point it's easier to save edit than do everything over again, even if you do start from day 2, that's the only reason I suggested that.
The game can be really grindy even with your stats maxed so I didn't want them to redo everything.

So after almost 4 months since the last time I checked up on this project they added... an introduction scene for a new character.

"We're already working 12+ hours a day", eh? Why am I not surprised?

Yeah... it's Patreon.
Seriously the only thing that's worth supporting on there is commission artists.
They draw a picture and they have a spoken contract to finish.
These developers don't have overhead, timelines, or direction.
Waste of money for upwards of 5 years making almost 5 figures a month with no progress.

You'd think the people would've learned by now.
Maybe I should do it part time too. I've been getting bored quite a lot after going back from work lately. Just a promise of delivering something then throwing bread crumbs once a month or two at the crowd to make them happy.

If you're pandering to furries and trans people you're 100% guaranteed to make good money.
Just start a Ren'py project, that's easy enough to code for, spend $100 on decent commissioned art and put it in with some light writing and boom. Done.
Easier still, use one of the 999 3D render engines around to make ugly posable models, you'll still make bank. For free no less.

That is something my autism wouldn't allow me to do. My biggest problem would be that I'd actually get progress and possibly even end up with a finished product and we know that it's not how to milk money.

Fun game, but has anyone else been experiencing a lot of crashes? I seriously can barely play the game for 10 minutes before it crashes... I try to save, it crashes. I try to load, it crashes. I try to use the map to travel, it crashes. Literally everything in this game has the potential to cause it to crash...

I heard, 32x Windows version is prone to crush, probably because of memory issues (I play on Mac, so can’t test myself), and this problem is unfixable (and for this very reason future releases can drop support for 32x versions entirely).

The funny thing is that i only started using the 32x version because the 64x version kept crashing on me, it would crash every single time before even showing the main menu. So i'm not sure what the issue is, maybe i'll try the 64x version again some other time when i figure out what the problem is.

In all honesty, I liked this project so far. And I dont mind little hickups here and there. But they are getting really long-winded to produce anything atm.

At this point "being a perfectionist" isnt an excuse anymore for the devs just reworking parts of the animation loops and other in-engine things without adding any additional cg or story for the "next update". I get its cool to have a working game thats easy to expand.

But for the love of god, put some progression in there. Not enough time/money to get the animations done? At least put some text-based story in there and fill it with custom animations later. Not enough time to update the engine? Do it on the side while spitting out smaller cg-updates or story progression bits.

I get that not everything works at the snip of a finger, but thats why you work on multiple things so if one gets delayed you can at least release the other features. Hell you even have different people working on different stuff, why the hell is nothing happening? Didnt they hire a full time writer? Where is my dialogue and story? There is barely anything happening each time.

How about if the animations take a long ass time (which I even believe) and there are some hickups with the game engine and systems you want to re-arrange, at least give me interesting jobs and tasks to do in the game and lots of dialogue for all the characters so the world is fleshed out more. Dont fucking make me wait forever for one Shaman introduction scene just because you want to "get it perfect" and want all the animations, artwork and other stuff in place. I rather have the occasional placeholder-background or character model than wait for 3 trillion years for a new update that does anything significant.

Sorry, had to get this out. I supported them off and on on Patreon with 1 buck every other month, but at this point I dont think its really worth it. The main dev is apparently on holiday (wonder how he could afford this, guess its all the money he got on Patreon) and cant work on the project (very convenient) cause apparently he needs a very special PC for it that he cant take with him. Mhm. And then there was this holdup with the "hard decision" he had to make in his real life where he excused not being able to deliver on time but he didnt say a word about what was happening so everyone was like "guess we'll wait".

At least he did announce on Patreon that there was not gonna be an update in April and he said himself that we should stop supporting him for April if we want to. Which is more decent than some other creators over there.

But still, its kind of been a drag lately with this project.

There is a reason that most threads on this site about games that are supported through Patreon eventually become about Patreon milking. I think it's a fault in the way Patreon itself works, since it does not reward creators for delivering something by default. It's meant as a sort of tip jar so you can support creators to allow them to continue what they're doing. You're actually encouraged to delay the project for as long as possible, because that way you get more money for the same amount of work.

There is a reason why I have stopped giving people my money through Patreon. I'd rather pay for a completed product than keep pumping money into a project that I don't even know will actually be finished. There are rare exceptions, like when the developer has a good track record of delivering, but those exceptions seem to become rarer.

I rather have the occasional placeholder-background or character model than wait for 3 trillion years for a new update that does anything significant.
I agree with that. But I can also see people starting to complain about placeholders when they do that. Really, people will always find something to complain about.

On the whole I think this project is handled better than most. They have Trello boards that are publicly accessible, which will give you an idea of what they're working on. Many other creators on Patreon will just leave you in the dark.
