now that's highly ambitious. i still remember the game called xstoryplayer. they tried to let the player have the freedom to control almost everything around him and interact with it while seeing the world in the first person perspective... and they failed.
I don't know the reasons behind their failure, however many VR games nowadays allow you to do so, and "Summer Lessons" is a nice idea of what I'm up against. Still, development costs for that are HUGE, so I'll need some major crowdfunding to do it. I won't tell you I can develop something like that with 10.000$, that would be unrealistic to say the least.

@Thaeddus which fix? You're running 0.0.25.1, there's no need for any fix (nor I have released one). I'm afraid the uploaders left something amiss, you'd better contact them ;)

Is it me or at the current state of the game there is not pictures to unlock in gallery?
I'm relatively in very early stage (11 may) but i think according to walkthrough have to be at least one from pool scene with sister when MC pull her top.
Just want to know of it's implemented or will come with final release.
Keep up the good work with this very fresh concept!

Gallery will be implemented with Beta release, since it's not a priority in development. But it will be present, that's for sure!

Thx for your quick replay. Definitely will buy the finished product. Just out of curiosity: what will be the final number of patients?

Just wanted to let you know that as of v0.25.1 Elisa is broken, you cant call her at all it just gives you an error that you can ignore but it takes you to the "select phone background" option... I restarted the game from scratch and it still happens... All the other girls are fine, its just Elisa... always Elisa lol...

This update has so many bugs that it just kills the fun. Maybe will try another version, but the two I have played really have not impressed me that much.

About 96 scripted ones, plus the random ones (60 different ailments at launch). ;)

That should've been fixed a long time ago... I shall have a look at it ASAP. Thanks!

If you feel like it you can help me sort them out, since I usually fix them very fast when people report them to me. If they aren't reported I can't help but wait for them to come out in my own games. Please note that the game is about 50+ hours long and I can't play it from the beginning each month, plus choices give different ways to experience things, even after a dozen hours so it's extremely difficult for me to find them on a single playthrough.
Finally, many reported bugs are, in fact, already fixed and some others experienced here have been due to the leaked releases as well, so I really need something more to work on to fix the game. ;)

With these bug, you cannot choose to go with Erika to the festival. I wonder if the devs tested the game before releasing it?

There are also many bugs, for example, you can call Elisa with your phone; sometimes there are errors in hospital scene (hospital not your clinic).

I'm really disappointed with the negligence of dev teams.

Also Bruni as of this new update 0.25.1 Clara Potter never triggers, I literally spent from her examination till the trip to Seattle going to the park for her sex scene, and nada...

Whoops since I am helping you find and squash bugs, there is another two annoying ones, but these ones are more harmless... The other one is the patient card that shows up on the top right corner doesn't always go away, sometimes it follows you into the city maps and on dates.
Thanks! I need more infos about the last ones. Can you send me a couple screenshots or your savegame folder to bugs[at]brunimultimedia.com? That would be a huge help.
Please write in the email's text what the bug is though, I won't remind this report otherwise :D

For Clara's exam I'm about to release a fix both on retail stores and on Patreon. Thanks for the heads up!

how it game ? good ?
and to dev - pls update your certificate for server on which you have posted roadmap (or tell it to owner) - it getw warning if i want to look there.
Thanks! It's my own website, for some reason the SSL certificate was disabled, I re-enabled it right away. Thank you!

LOL negligence! I release a patch often MINUTES after a bug was reported, almost every day monday to saturday (sometimes on sunday as well), as well as a major release each month (hours of gameplay, not a 20-minutes update).

As I explained many times already I work alone, this means everything I do I do it by myself. The game is almost 60 hours long in gameplay, there are A LOT of meaningful choices (this means they actually alter the flow of events) and it allows a good freedom of play, so it's VERY difficult for me to predict every choice the players could make (since they grew esponentially since the first release) unless I play the game start to end every month at least three times (and I don't have 150 hours to spare each month, plus debug runs should not be rushed, and I'd have to re-read everything to check it properly).

That's why I rely A LOT on alpha testers (yes, the game is in alpha/early access on Steam. If you buy it at this stage of development you do to support development not to buy a fully finished product. Also the game's approaching final release so I planned two months which won't show major updates but are dedicated to beta testing the game myself.

Of course, since you downloaded the game for free on a pirate site, I can't offer you a refund for what I'm sorry to hear was an unsatisfactory experience with the game, but every customer can access those either via Steam or simply mailing me to sort matters out.

If you prefer other games from other developers, games that are in development stage for years without being finished (if ever), releasing an update once every 3/4 months (while their patrons pay monthly, that's hardly fair), which don't allow for meaningful choices, random events which keep the game interesting etc. be my guest.

I thank you for your bug reports, as they are very useful to me, but calling this game "negligent" is unfair to say the least. ;)

anyone know the cheat to change the date?
I strongly recommend against it, since it's likely to break the game. It's not enough to change the day, month and year variable, there are other things to set. But again, I recommend against it and please do not report any bug that might arise after doing this because it would be an unreliable feedback. ;)

Point taken.

Since you're selling your game on both steam and patreon, I understand that you take this seriously. So you should understand that, from a user's point of view, I don't care if you work alone or in a team. A game with too many bugs will adversely affect user's experience thus negative comments or ratings are inevitable. Also no offence, but you should never use such excuses as "I don't have enough time" or "I work alone" since this only shows that you don't know what you're doing well enough or you have poor project management skill. Customers like me only care about the result of your work.

However, I have to admit you are right. Yes. I understand you've tried your best to build a good game thus 'negligence' was a bit too much to say about your efforts. I'm really sorry if my wording hurt your feeling.

Anyway, I think your game has great potential and it is a pity to let unwanted bugs ruin it. So, please let me know how I can report such bugs to you.

Thank you for your understanding. Actually I could improve project management skills, however the most difficult thing is to re-play most of the game every time, thus the need to have players test it in Alpha.
Also, both Steam users and Patreon ones (and itch.io etc.) do know that the game is in Early Access. That doesn't mean "Hey guys, here's this game, I want your money and you won't see the end of it", but it means (or should mean): "Hey guys, the game's incomplete and might have crashes here and there. Thank you for your support, you're making it possible for the game to even exist." :D

Also, while I'm still learning something about Ren'Py with each month that passes, I do know what I'm doing. The two bugs you reported were very simple in fact: in ren'py (python) you have to put a "True condition" with double "=", so that reads:

if a == b:

The game was missing a "=" so it read "if a = b" which caused the error. It's a distraction, and it only was visible if you followed a certain path to it, since the same event could have started in two different ways as well. Just to give you the scope of the problem ;)

Take Euro Truck Simulator 2 for example, which is a game I'm a HUGE fan of. This is their "bug report" thread on their forum for the latest beta:

There are dozens, hundreds of reports, and that's quite normal since it's a beta (experimental), but they also have dozen of people developing it and a nice budget for it, however something still arises from time to time, even things that worked fine until the latest release stop working.

AAA companies release Gigs of patch on day 1, and their scope of developers is incomparable, still they have their own issues.

Telling that I work alone on this project isn't an excuse on my part: it's an explanation of the work behind the game, some of the choices after it and the presence of bugs. What's important is the speed on when the bugs are fixed in my opinion, because if I had a team of two (they would be enough) playing the game 6 hours/day for 20 days/month nothing of this will happen, but I can't hire them right now :(

If you wish to assist you can use the "bug report" button in-game to access the bug report page directly or write me an email with a list of issues on bugs[at]brunimultimedia.com

This is the "open bug report" situation:

As you can see it states "None reported" because I just released a fix. It doesn't mean the game is bug-free, but it means that every bug report I received has been dealt with and until something gets reported again I will work on new developments.

Thanks again.
