i know some games have an optional font for old useless people like me to survive a gameThanks, regarding the font, I do like it (of course, I got used to it), and it has not be chosen randomly. That being said, if too many people dislike it, and if it prevents people from playing the game because they can't read it, then I'll have to change it anyway.
Regarding the fighting, I've got a few ideas that I'd like to implement, but I might be technically challenged to do so :/ When the time comes, I'll ask around.
You might have seen that for now, the two main paths are Warrior and Scholar, and I'd like to comment on the gameplay you might expect for each path, but I won't. You'll have to be surprised, like everyone else
Ha ha. Canonically, I intended to have the MC be called "Olaf Olafsson"
As for Freydis, she's the very reason I've made this game in a viking setting. The world needs more redhead amazonian freckled eye candy
so just add another font choice and leave the norse one as default for those that can see proper still

Well after Rob's recommendation i tried and really liked, i love medieval\fantasy themed games so i really liked what i saw, the music, the characters, the humour, i have to agree with the rest of the guys Freydis is the woman i want to pursue in Vinland, get in line you maggots!! if any of you thinks you can steal that giant woman from me you are wrong, you all are going to taste my steel

Okay, a few small things:
First off, maybe remove the face art in the textbox when the person at least, it's redundant to have a person in the full image and in the facebox. Or just remove it altogether, as the game is also using other ways of marking who's speaking and the expressions in the full renders convey even more than the ones in the facebox.
Going off the previous one, I would recommend using font color instead of texbox color to identify the speaker, the reason being it's standard for VNs (since textboxes can often be set to transparent).
Choice menus need customize art, but I'll assume you already know that since everything else is customized.
And just a personal preference, since I noticed you're tracking a lot of variables, have some feedback to at least inform the player of what is being tracked.

I'll try to find a solution less "information loaded".
Those two points are actually connected for me. I would like the choice menu to reflect how it can affect the rest of the story. Maybe a color code, maybe something else, I don't know yet. As for the way to track variables, it should appear during the first chapter, when MC starts to make a diary to take note during his journey.
Nice, the Jorvik one could do the trick. I'll have to try it.
