If you use McComandCenter It will still fill empty homes with homeless sims even if it's unchecked in the gameplay tab in settings.
You are going have to manually disable the fill empty homes option in McComandCenter.

I just tried and it works fine.
You will get an ugly new start up and loading screen but i noticed nothing wrong with wicked whims, animations and better bodies by hiroki or aep pornograthicly mod.
I cant say for the other mods but the once i use run fine.

oh that must the reason. so now i need to manually disable it in MC. and where can i find that setting? do i need to click on a sim or the mailbox for that option to appear??
Put the Fill Empty Lot number to something high like 88, it'll prevent the game from putting Sims in random lots. I believe you just need to have the number higher than the homes you have in the game
All you have to do in MCCC is go to a computer, and tell it to not move homeless into empty lots.
Meh... Such an exciting update I can't contain myself...*yawn* Nothing much in this 1.53.115 update. You get a whole bunch of world objects, a few new items in CAS, and a CAS personality questionnaire to help build a sim. It isn't worth the time to update honestly. No major earth shattering stuff.. And the "An item has been removed" bug is still there. Oh... they changed the loading screens.. Whoopie! I'm so excited I wet myself....

I feel your pain... I left a stinking message about it on the sims forum, and just to rub salt into the wounds only 2 bug fixes. Seems most people are ok with getting less and paying more for the sims series as we go along. Fuck EA and their greed, worst thing for me is it looks like we are going to have another 5 years of crapy Sims 4. Call me old but I remember a time you got something for your money when it came to EP,s like vampires compaired to Supernatural EP and island living compaired to Island Paradise. I could go on but won't bother.

Anyone know why teens can't use Wicked Whims anymore? I have the option enabled, and installed the patch, but teens don't have the option for sex anymore.
Would anyone know of a package with a bunch higher quality sims? I'm trying to create most of the sims of my world, aiming to avoid sims with the cartoonish default textures, but a decent world has many dozens of sims, which makes the task a huge chore. Other tips to deal with the default textures are welcome, too.

(Click the link for the download page) on Loverslab has remade all the sims in sims 4 currently up to Get Famous (No Strangerville or Island Living as of yet), you can snatch all of his remakes, and also optionally play in his saved world if you don't want to put the grunt work in deleting the uglies and reforming relationships/careers/clubs/any other lost jazzed when plopping sims from gallery.Porkybork is planning on revamping all of them entirely, and including the two expansions I've mentioned earlier, but it's gonna take a while (an understatement). I'm currently watching the thread, waiting for the blessed magic from his creative fingers, but I'm also enjoying the download in it's current state.
Mind you, on a personal testing note, it's a little dated, and I have a few mods that needs fresh plays to function at top quality, nothing too mod rejecting so far, but you might run into trouble (I may have, but could be me, screwing the pooch with mods), I guess, if a mod asks for new saves? Maybe/maybe not? Still setting up, so no conclusive report yet.
Also, on another personal critique, I've fancied my old save up with custom lots and custom lot traits (a whole bunch of them with Littlemssams' more lot trait mods, especially the visiting lot cost money trait, as I don't like my sims getting anywhere in life for free) and even gave some glamor to his remakes (added body shines/nails cc, made custom clubs and relationships tweak, both to restore some of the redacted relationships edits he made, like the removed relationship between Siobhan Fyres and Sergio Romeo [they're meant to be together 5ever, dammit! Then divorce as elders when Sergio pulls a Caitlyn Jenner], one of my sims in game started off with multiple of the thotted EA NPCs as sex slaves, with NisaK's mod, and I had to add in a drug dealer from basemental [same dude with the sex slaves]), and it's a bitch having to do that again, I might not (definitely not editing characters/relationships again, that was hell, and I won't go back), I might do the lot traits gradually through play (but I have a family who'd hate to miss out on the hardcore immersion suffering I'm forcing down their throats, and can't mod to save their life, so I do it all for them... against their will).
Ending on word of advice, the save is bare, besides the beautiful sims, so you'll have to either decorate PorkyBork's World, or put in the grueling work of replacing you're premade world with his edit sims (and integrating them back into society). Hope it helps, unless... uh... you knew of this already, then, sorry for making you read that, I guess.

I haven't noticed anything completely broken. Sometimes Sims get stuck in place and you have to figure out what action another Sim is doing is causing everyone else to freeze and cancel it. Besides that everything seems to be running smoothly.

I get what you're saying, that is a downfall of the mod pack given that he made everyone beautiful/pornstars, even the elderly are pretty thottie. Though, hearing what you're saying, as a tip, it's just the EA NPCs official townies, all the randomly generated homeless should start filling the roles of the "normies" (unless you use a mod to nuke them some how), oh, along with any of the Jungle Adventures(forgot to mention,)/Strangerville/Island Paradise normies.
Or is that too plain for you? Personally I have a small blerp of donated sims from years of collecting (not many to suggest for you, or any that would add "normals", I mainly have celebrities) so you can always get the normies sims you're speaking of, and inject them into the town as the game should have the same amount of vacant lots as a new start (minus a couple of Porkybork's original/added in families, about 3 I believe?). I'm afraid I haven't downloaded many premade sims as I always gloat that I'll make them myself, because character creation is my favorite part of the game, but then I get too lazy with my massive hoard of CC that lags my PC, so I never do get about making them.

I'm pretty sure you don't really want this as it looks to utilize Maxis-match/style/default attire, but if you've the time, maybe you could deconstruct them with the custom content of your choosing? I've stumbled upon them recently, and was considering giving them a chance in my game.I can't say any further, as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I don't know exactly what you're looking for in terms of normal sims that doesn't have that (porn)star look, but I will warn that finding normal, flaws and all, sims is going to be a challenge, both in that people love to glamorize their creations, even more so when releasing them to the public to download, and those that make unconventional/minority in beauty sims always do it in a silly, impossible way.
Buuuut~! One last tip before I go, you might want to search for celebrity sims to download, as the people who make them try to stay as realistic as possible, so you won't get too many Muscle Kens/Pinup Barbies, and you might find a few nicely CC elderlies (and from me to you, I think a lot of celebrities are pretty fuggly, without Sim creators help, so it's fun downloading them to ugly up my neighborhood, but not in an obvious baldheaded-step-child-lacking-CC-and-care way
). As for the fatties, this may be hard to find someone to take that seriously, maybe try for the black Simmer community, as they're more open to both curvy and realistically overweight Sims (though, gonna be honest, the sims are probably still gonna be obviously hourglassed "slim/thick"); if all fails, drag the weight up on a sim you find appealing in other aspects, tweak those a little?I'll end this in saying that I'd like to see the same thing you're looking for, too, if anyone else have any suggestions. I'll keep an eye out, as well, and come back to share if I find something further.
Honestly I usually check youtube a lot if I'm looking for new sims to add to my game but don't want to take the time to create them myself lol. Just type in the youtube search bar something along the lines of "Sims 4 sim download" or "Sims 4 CAS download" or even "Sims 4 townie makeover download" I've downloaded many townie makeovers, some couples, families and many singles lol. This can be tedious though if you download sims with a lot of CC as it will obviously take some time to grab everything and then put them in your game. You'll also probably come to find that it is harder to find male sims, but if you search hard enough (and long enough) you'll find some lol. Katverse on Youtube has created many sims and has also done quite a few townie makeovers as well. You will have to download the required cc individually though. As for save files of worlds with new sims or townie makeovers I honestly can't think of any. Your best bet is to just download sims, delete the ones in your game and replace them with the new ones. Oh, and as for dealing with default textures, you can simply just find a default skin that you like and add that to your game. So all of the sims already in your game and newly created sims will all have that new skin. Of course, if you are using WW make sure the skin you chose is compatible. As for things such as hair, skin details, makeup etc. you can just simply download cc and use Sims4Studio to run a batch fix on all of your cc and select "allow cc for random, allow cc for aliens and allow cc for vampires" for any cc that may not already have those checked. So any newly created sim may end up with some cc hair, makeup, etc. Be careful though, I've had some whacky looking sims by allowing all my cc for random lol, I personally actually did a batch fix and selected "disallow cc for random" because the sims the game was generating just didn't look right at all lol.
