I'd suggest making it an option in future to refit villages and outposts to relevant species homes for about 1/3 to a half of the build price.

It's a known problem with smaller screens. Sadly, all you can do is change the browser zoom until it fits. I have the same problem on a laptop.
In regards to the Rheia picture. Were you using the latest version when that happened? Something similar was fixed yesterday.

The player character doesn't use food, nor does the matriarchs, as they are seen as capable and self sustaining. But any creature or child needs two food per turn. Many of the creature races produces food though, like Cows, Cats and so one, so they will produce 5 food while only consuming 2.

@Beornwahl Every time I try to explore the jungle, Bastet appears and I can only press the button "we will see". I can not progress any farther in the jungle.

Fixed in versions 1.0.5 and up. Alternatively you can click the picture of the jungle instead and it won't happen.
Gathering suggestion: You could almost halve the number of mouse-clicks needed to gather wood / stone / etc.
At present the flow is like this ...
Wood -> Chop some wood -> Take a break -> Chop some wood -> Take a break -> Chop some wood ... etc.
I suggest that the screen with 'Take a break' should have TWO buttons. 'Take a break' and 'Chop more wood'.
Wood -> Chop some wood -> Chop more wood -> Chop more wood ... etc.
When you are gathering a lot of resources this will cut down the clicking needed a lot.

The mountain region seems a bit buggy. First you sometimes get a blank screen when exploring there. Second when you win a fight against beserker girl you drop back to the first mountain screen instead of having the victory options.
Oh, yes, back in the Fields region - my first bunny matriarch is pregnant, but never seems to get as far as giving birth. Just eternal pregnancy.
