Ok, I'll bite. How does affect the game that the author is closeted and depressed? (I don't have any idea if he is or not)

- Even if the creator has negative situations / personal problems, that's none of your business, and it has nothing to do with the game's quality - it might affect the nature of the game, but not how good the game.
- Using gossip to file your complain is laughable. Feast upon other's misfeature (true or not) is ... well, unhealthy.
- Being gay or straight totally has nothing to do with game quality. "shitty than average straight visual novel" is a troll statement;
- You were not "Criticising", you were Flaming - attacking the game + creator with hateful words. (If it's done properly, I actually agree with few points you made - like many other replies)

Well, thanks for the reply, it seems you don't mean bad, so I'll also leave the discussion to this point. I didn't had any idea of the personal problems of the dev, and my guess is, most of us here don't know either.
You raise some points valid for an entire discussion thread, like the quality of gay games, or how we should raise the quality bar, and I'm sure we'll get there, eventually. Just to give you an example: Lust for adventure, one of the few, if not the only, WoW based porn game, is mostly gay, and it has high production levels. Other games? Robin morningwood or strange flesh. There are some high quality gay games able to stand up to the straight counterparts.
But that is off topic. I'm not a fan of VN, but this game is alright, almost reaching the 3-4 star territory. Not groundbreaking, but deserves to take a look whenever your husbando of choice gets an update. Writing wise? at least you can read it, it's not like the writing disaster that is my game. Now THAT is cringy and painful.
methinks you're protesting too much to be believable: the writing is ass, the characters are ass, the graphics is ass... not to mention the comment on the dev that was just in bad taste.
Like others have said, it's a perfectly serviceable VN if not exactly the most inventive. I like the points system because it allows some nuance in dealing with the characters. Characters are more than decent with some ups and some downs. Same for the dialogues (the last dialogue with Jorge was belonging to the downs but it definitely didn't break the game or anything). The story is light but pleasant. Graphics are pretty pleasant. It's a solid game without reinventing the wheel, I stand by my 4 stars.

This month update is JustBros again but the chapter apparently is not complete, no idea when the second part will be released(maybe later in June or next month as the July's update)
