So, it's been my first year on this site, and considering the great catalogue of games this community provides I figured I'd give back and review the games I played this year, which I found enjoyable and which I did not. I should preface this that I originally came from games such as Degrees of Lewdity and games on itch.io trying to find a more consistent place to find NSFW games than old Reddit posts in ancient subreddits, and it worked! The main genres I've tended to enjoy this year have been HTML text adventures, some visual novel style things but also RPG's or even stealth games! Note: I am at times a proficient lover of cheat codes / game manipulation to get to where I want to be based on what I want to play.
All in all I'd recommend taking a look at theTop 3 regardless. Checking out "The Big Ones" if you want recommendations about the popular big games, and check out the other two categories if you are looking for something more novel. Merry Christmas and a happy 2026!
