2d female protagonist games

Is anyone else disappointed in the lack of 2d female protagonists? I love The Winds Disciple, Noxian Nights, Good Girl Gone Bad but that seems to be it. Are they not as successful as male protagonist games?

Third Crisis is a must play 2d female protaganist game imo.
I don't play too many so I'm not sure but I think a lot of the Japanese games have female protaganists as well?

There are actually too many of those "2d female protagonist games" especially Japanese rpgm. If we're talking about western games then you might have a point.
