Overall which do you prefer and why?
In my most humble take, I think 2D is the better option if you have or are an artist. You are not limited to pre-made assets, not limited by the engine, and you can play around with proportions way more without making it look uncanny. 2D reigns supreme when it comes to creative freedom.

It's hard to say honestly. It's always refreshing to see 2D stuff, and certainly that's in part because every dev's work is unique. But I think the main reason is that it's comparatively rare. In contrast there this one facial expression (kind of half smile/smirk) that's used in pretty much every Illusion-illustrated game I've ever played, and I still love it every time I see it.

Bold part is why I voted 3D. There's a lot of 2D games with some absolutely hideous art that get praise just for being 2D amid the sea of comparatively better looking 3D games. While I'll admit that the same renders showing up repeatedly gets old, I'd still rather have a decent looking game than something that makes my eyes bleed.

But even then, for 3D renders, if you can't pose for shit, you run into the same problem, or you are limited to a few pre-made poses. I don't think seeing the same assets in the same poses is any hot personally.

Generally i tend to like 2D more.
But to be honest, depends more on skill and effort put into it.
With enough of both the result will look great regardless of which 'D' it is.:coffee:

So, what the fuck is your point?
Other than asking same fucking question already asked 5439054395 times?

Fucking faggot...
My question is to see what people prefer out of curiosity.
Link me two threads asking this question.

If I could do good 2d, I would have. But many of us can't, and 3d can give passable results with some training and amazing results for talented people. Additionally, the same quality which gives 2d its advantage, the uniqueness of the images, might be an Achilles heel if some players don't enjoy the artists' specific style. With 3d, for better or worse, it's simply an imitation of real life, as much as the artist can achieve it.

Bear in mind that a porn game or AVN is more than just pretty pictures or fluid animations. It's believable character, tension building, dialogs, pacing and more so the art is important but not the only factor in the quality of and erotic product.
