To add to your point, it's honestly just easier to make bigger dicks look good from a visual perspective. I've started playing around with 3d modelling recently and it's far harder to show someone playing with a normal sized dick because other things in the scene end up covering significant parts of it up. It's not really that exciting looking at a handjob where a hand is covering most of the dick.
