VN - Ren'Py - Completed - 5 Powers [Final] [IceCreamParty]

Man I was hoping for this game to be good. There's a lot more wrong than right in this game...

Pros:

• Girls are attractive with their own distinct features
• Around 2 hours to complete
• Gallery included

Cons:

• Story is abhorrent. You're an orphan going back home to see your family and somehow they are so open to getting fucked by you. Literally no build up or corruption process.
• An extreme amount of broken english/translation errors
• The game tries to be funny but it never works like breaking the 4th wall
• Any decision you make does not matter. If you pick the wrong one it'll just send you back until you pick the right one. So why even have decision-making in the game?
• The animations are incredibly clunky and janky
• No SFX for the scenes at all

Honestly, I wouldn't even download this game for the scenes, there's many games out there that do better than this. Skip this.

A 5/10 game recommendation to those who want a story that isn't very long at all.

Gameplay : Not all choices matter and if you pick the wrong one, the game will often automatically revert back to the point where you get to select the choices.

Story : As far as I can tell, this is one of the biggest flaw in the game. You are thrown into a scenario where you seem to understand what is going on, but not at the same time. The story is like continued on in fragments that I have to piece together slowly. An example would be the relationship with one of the female MCs, where you met her after 1 year of no contact. She obviously has a good relationship with you, but no to the intimate level. So you interact with her once and she is literally pulling down you pants. Like what caused her to be actually be interested in you to this degree? Usually a good story builds up the suspense leading to he/she developing in these kind of relationships. The game is in engish, but again, story is kind of fragmented where you are confused what is going on.

Visuals : Decent anime-3D character visuals. Nothing very good or very bad, and obviously feels extremely artificial.

Scenes : Scenes aren't any better, because it is literally made with stop motion. There are no sound affects at all, and feels bland with no deep connection between characters.

Overall, a so so game that I found pretty boring, and a bit hard to understand because of the story that is given in pieces. I wouldn't play this game again to be fair, but it can be worth a try and some people may like it.

The game is easy going and fun, the reason I'm giving 5 stars is that the game is delivering in want it intended to be. Is it the best game I ever played? No, but I'm not make a comparison on all the games out there, I'm reviewing this one on what it intended to be and what it is.
The plot is pretty mellow and easy to follow, there's no deep meaning behind it, and I also like that the jokes are not elementary school level, as we can see in a whole bunch of games out there.
As for English is well written and it shows that someone took the time to proofread it, which for me is another big plus.
The art is also good, lots of animations.
I'm excited to see the next updates.
Thanks the dev team for your effort, please at least keep it up and don't lower the standards once it becomes popular.

in general I play with a good potential, I had a lot of fun playing it, I expect more scenes and plot, I have nothing to complain in particular.

Easy 5/5, the renders and characters definitely appeal to me more than most for these types of games. Looking forward for more, overall just a great atmosphere and characters for the type of game this is, definitely worth a shot.

to me the writing and characters are nice

but the game forces you to do things a certain way - the choices you have are always one goes on all other give you a gameover, the "humor" is mostly making the mc wimpy and not strong at all "you got 5 powers and are kinda op but you can not use them anyway you could really get the most out of them oh and an extra drawback each is just usable once a day"

can't recommend a game forcing you to do stuff one way because of gameovers in every other option ... giving 2 stars for writing and characters - as those are good just the fact there is a wimpy mc makes me not like the game enough to give a better rating

As of update 0.3, I think the game deserves a 5/5 rating.

There has been an improvement in the English script alongside the addition of a Spanish translation for our resident non-English speakers.

The characters and the animated scenes are really hot, the plot has potential, the new characters look great. And I'm happy with the amount of content we got in essentially a month from a new developer.
