VN - Ren'Py - 60 Days Of Us [EA Build 2] [Eizenhower]

IMO the selling point in this is the incest and sister. The reason i'm giving 1 star is because the creater said the sister is not gonna be a love interest. It's baffling that the dev would go down that route given all the panty shots of the sister. This is a porn game. If the female is not a love interest / has sex scenes, then theres no point in having that character.
I will gladly update this rating if anything changes but as of now, its not worth the disk space to even have it downloaded.

What an amazing prolouge. The story keep you engage like a real zombie movie. The render are amazing, where did the dev get all the army uniforms, helicopters and guns ?. The main character is baddass, but I guess being a proffesional soldier who is proficient with guns and fighting is neccessary in a zombie apocalypse. And the girls and baddass too, from cop to biker to nurse who can shoot'em up. 4.75/5. Waiting for the next update

Short Review: Very good start, almost no NSFW content yet. Beautiful visuals and an interesting, well-written story.

    Gameplay & Development

The game is still in its very early stages, but it already shows a lot of promise. The renders are among the best I’ve seen, and while the story isn’t groundbreaking, it’s well-written and engaging.

The female characters are all interesting, which suggests there’s a lot of good potential for future updates.

    Pacing & Choices

The only aspect that might bother some players is the pacing. It’s a bit slow, with plenty of text effects that prevent quick skipping, and choices are relatively rare. In my opinion, 60 Days of Us feels more like a choice-based visual novel than a traditional game.

    NSFW Content

If what you’re looking for is NSFW content, you’ll want to skip this one for now. There’s very little of it so far.

    Verdict

4/5 (potentially higher with future updates).
If you’re interested in a cool, epic post-apocalyptic zombie story, this is exactly the right place. 60 Days of Us offers about 1.5 to 2 hours of solid entertainment in its current state.

Really good, its another one of those Zombie survivals stories but it seems to have really good written characters and dialogue, easily recommended for others to try out! I feel I'm going to enjoy each chapter released and I hope it doesn't get abandoned.

Story-focused AVN with zombie survival action, cinematic scenes, and solid gun SFX. Cute and charming girls, very few H scenes but it fits the story perfectly. Lighting on characters is a bit too bright, but overall a very fun and engaging build to play.

    Highly recommended

    Version 2.2

This game has been a pleasant surprise for me. It has an interesting and well-crafted story. The characters behave realistically. There are hardly any NSFW scenes yet, so there's not much to say about that at the moment. My overall rating is excellent, and I hope the developers continue along the same lines as they have done so far.

    Overall: 5/5
Pretty good first impression, the gameplay hugely reminds me of Telltale games with the notifications and choices with a lot of depth. The chopper animations surprised the hell out of me since not many HS2 devs put that much effort into animations and mostly use static renders. Wish the main girls had different character models since they mostly look similar. Secondly, I hope the dev implements QTE mechanics and exploration as well. It's a tall order, but I think it just fits this game. Awesome job with the SFX as well. Can't wait for the next update!

60 Days Of Us [EA Build 2]

This game is off to a very, VERY great start and has a very positive looking future. It's plainly obvious the amount of effort and passion that has already gone in here, and it's still very early days.

    Pros -

    - Lots of great atmosphere, very cinematic feeling.

    - Very nice and immersive sound & effects.

    - Good world & character building.

    - Actually feels like a legitimate apocalypse setting and story thanks to the detailed and packed environments/scenes.

    - Has a good amount of player input/choices to help feel more engaged as the player, although it's too early to tell how impactful the choices are but they are appreciated regardless.

-Writing is excellent, dialogue feels organic and quite believable. Pacing is also pretty well balanced, not too fast, nor too slow.

    - Characters all feel quite realistic and grounded, the female characters look nice and have realistic proportions instead of maxing the boob sliders.

    - It's refreshing to see a younger sister that isn't a love interest and is actually a younger sister to the MC, and ONLY a young sister instead of the same tropes we've seen many times.

    Nitpicking time.

    - The main character "Will" doesn't look, nor act too much like an ex-military. The looks part (his hairstyle) is actually addressed by characters in the story so atleast the developer is self aware of this. I just think he looks like a very generic anime protagonist, and kind of acts the part too. He hasn't shown an awful lot of military prowess in the combat scenes, which is a shame.

Don't get me wrong - I don't want him to be a perfect invincible chad by any means because that would be boring as hell, but I'd like his military experience to be a bit more prevalent then him just knowing how to handle a gun. On the brightside and as previously mentioned ; you do get a lot of decisions in how the MC handles things.

TLDR ; If you're a fan of good and exciting writing and apocalyptic settings, and believable characters - this is a very easy recommendation.

EDIT - - I've just read some of the other reviews and apparently the developer is planning to make this in to a sandbox - NOT A FAN. This will absolutely kill the flow of the story like it does in literally every other sandbox game, which is why I avoid them and have sandbox filtered out when I look for VN's. I don't want to grind and micromanage, I want to enjoy the story & characters and make choices. It's completely up to the developer obviously but if this is true - won't personally be a 5 star rating for me anymore.

Really strong start—super cinematic with great characters and a smooth story flow. Evelyn is absolutely adorable! It never drags or feels boring. Honestly, there’s not much more to say—I’m genuinely looking forward to what’s next. Keep it up, Dev!

I really liked the effort put into this game. It’s rare to find good ones like this on F95 these days, so I was surprised in a good way. Like others said, since the MC is ex-Special Forces, he should’ve been more skilled in fights and not knocked out by a regular cop. But still, the action scenes were some of the best I’ve seen in a while really well done. The dialogue was decent too, though it could be better. Overall, I’d definitely recommend playing this.

I started playing AVNs several years ago, and I’m the kind of player who really enjoys reading the story in them. If you also enjoy story-driven AVNs like I do, I highly recommend this game: 60 Days of Us.

The story is deep and well-written, filled with details, and the visuals are absolutely beautiful. The environments are rich with detail, the atmosphere and music fit perfectly, and the characters each have clear and unique personalities.

As for the rest, I’d recommend you try playing it yourself.

60 Days of Us is one of those AVNs that immediately stands out for its polish and attention to detail. From the opening moments, the presentation makes it clear that the developers are serious about creating a high-quality experience.

Visually, the game is stunning. The renders are crisp, the lighting feels natural, and the environments are thoughtfully crafted to immerse the player in every scene. Character models are equally impressive, not just in terms of technical quality, but also in how expressive they feel. Small details in poses and facial expressions go a long way in bringing the cast to life.

The audio design is another strong point. The soundtrack sets the tone perfectly, whether the moment calls for something lighthearted, dramatic, or intimate. Sound effects, often overlooked in AVNs, are integrated seamlessly here, adding weight and atmosphere without feeling intrusive.

Story-wise, 60 Days of Us manages to strike the right balance between pacing and engagement. It doesn’t drag, nor does it rush through important beats. The narrative keeps you invested, and each choice feels like it carries real impact. The characters are written with care, each with their own personality and depth. They’re more than just archetypes — their motivations and interactions feel believable, which makes it easy to get attached.

Perhaps the most impressive part is how cohesive all these elements feel together. It’s not just that the visuals, music, and writing are strong individually — it’s that they all work in harmony to deliver a complete experience. That cohesion is what elevates the AVN from good to great.

Of course, this is still an in-development project, and the true test will be whether the developers can maintain this level of quality throughout the full release. But based on what’s here so far, 60 Days of Us is on track to be an A+ AVN — the kind that sets a benchmark for others in the genre.

In short: if you’re looking for a visual novel that delivers on every front — visuals, audio, storytelling, and character depth — 60 Days of Us is one to keep on your radar.

this game hooked me way harder than i expected. the renders look clean, characters feel alive, and nothing about it screams “rushed.” the story flows nicely, with enough background detail to make the zombie apocalypse setting believable instead of just another generic AVN with the same theme

what really stood out to me though is the sound. Mixing SFX from Left 4 Dead with BGM that feels straight out of Project Zomboid? chef’s kiss. as someone who loves both of those games, it gave me instant nostalgia and immersion at the same time. honestly, the atmosphere is top tier.

grammar and writing are solid too, so you’re not tripping over weird lines or broken English. everything just feels… neat. and the best part? i don’t get that “quick cash grab” vibe at all. you can tell the dev is passionate about this project. i really believe they’ll keep updating it with care and consistency.

if they stay on this path, i can see 60 Days of Us becoming one of the best AVNs out there. definitely a 5/5 for me.

First review I've given and love the choices, along with the characters. The artistic shots are wonderful and I love how the relationship is building between him and his little sis. Who is a mad cutie btw! Would love to see more of her, would love to see him taking a more dominant role, or at least as the options continue. A little girl on girl action as well would be nice.

Hoping this gets the praise it deserves and everyone gets around this dev so he can keep pumping out updates in what could be another great masterpiece!

Great work Dev! Keep it coming.

Definitely too early to say anything concrete, but I feel like this could become a rather good game in the future.

    Pros:
    - Interesting setting.
    - Rather good visuals.

    Cons:
    - The main story starts too early, and a longer buildup would have been nice in my opinion.
    - MC isn't renameable.
    - The game looks hideous on an ultrawide monitor due to it having a thick black border around the entire screen.
    - Sound volume isn't configurable except for outright muting it. Some sections of the game were way too loud.

Review of 60 Days of US - EA Build 1
There is no shortage of adult Honey Select 2 games being made on the site but ones with this level of quality this early is an achievement.

So you're Noctis Will, a military veteran of some Middle-Eastern war discharged to the life of living in city of Los Sueños. The opening sequence sets this up pretty nicely, taking you back to a desert military outpost somewhere out in the field.

You are introduced to a few service members that you are probably going to meet again later in the story, hear the complaints about the searing heat and get blown up by suicide bombing. Typical day in the U.S. army.

Back to America with you, soldier.

This is where the story gets into motion. Really quickly. You get through leaving your house and reaching the city before things escalate so fast that even I got confused and I already knew the apocalypse was coming but the beginning of the end is here. All the action and especially the camera angles, visual effects, motion blur and sound effects really synergize well here in a fresh way. No sudden "it's now five months later" or "its terrible out there but you are only going to see parts of it or hear it through some survivor", the police and army are here with weapons in tow and you are going to see this happen as it happens.

It is really going for the movie-light atmosphere with the vignette, cinematic angles and lighting choices and it does that part well. What is done not so well is the extreme level of compression on the few animations you see since the quality drop is pretty noticeable but it seems more like the original was perfectly fine and it was a bad render trade-off decision for disk space that went too far. Easy to learn from.

While we're on the explicit parts and for the sake of doing the review properly. The protagonist's reactions to anything NSFW currently are more on the side of a teenager/anime-ish so be warned if that is not for you.

Here are the numbers and ratings.

    Story: 4/5
Too early to properly rate but it is promising. There are a few minor plot holes. Why didn't Evelyn use her mobile data instead to reach the internet when WiFi wasn't working or why would a roaming gang of either soldiers or preppers have the time or decide to gang up on a random woman in the middle of the city being overrun but neither of these are too important.

    Grammar: 5/5
    No issues to mention.

    Graphics: 5/5
Already said the important parts but thought and effort went into it and it shows.

    Animations: 2/5
Another review already mentioned it is stock HS2. Compressed and lightly fried.

    Sound: 5/5
Music fits where it's suppose to and I liked the use of a remix of one of the Project Zomboid themes in there. Sound effects with references to Left for Dead was a nice touch. It's great.

A few final thoughts. There's really no mismatch of assets in Build 1. Many of these types of games are forced to re-use the same set of limited assets in places where it looks like some compromises had to be made but there's nothing like that yet.

Another is that I agree with what others have said about moving to a sandbox. Having choices is fine but I agree this will probably do better kept in the VN format then splitting up content into a chain of small pieces locked behind progressing in different places. It is an opinion in the end but for a game like this, I think they end up losing proper pacing and makes you less invested.

The Telltale game notifications to choices fit the style it is going for. You can't rename the protagonist right now and for some that's important although I personally don't think it's a problem if the storytelling is good enough.

TLDR: Excellent for early access. Very promising. A few small things here and there but current rating as of this review matches with what is available.

If F95 allowed half-star or a decimal point rating, this would be a 4.5 if only because 5/5 should be reserved for a game with more content but this is a work with vision and a lot of time and effort put into it.
