I don't get to play a lot of games these days, but this one has a special place in my heart. Reads like a book, I really enjoy the dialogue even if it's over the board sometimes, it's fun and engaging. The characters are superb and I don't even hate the main character which is uncommon. 5/5

Absolutly my top favorite game. Rich and interesting story, excelent characters, beautful animations, good background music and efects. Funn elements. Absolutly must play! Cant wait for the complete edition. The world needs more such briliant masterpieces!

Almost the best game I have played till now. I really didn't want to write a review as after seeing all the reviews before mine only a fool would not think of playing but the v0.9.0 update was soo good that I gave in. Let me only talk about this one only. First of all HOLY the animation got even better like I cant say enough of it and the relationship change was really good and we also got cal as main girl that was really needed. I don't write long reviews so, lastly if anyone still thinks this game is worth it or not it's totally worth it 5/5.

Edited: I forgot to say about the the songs in this game, they are one of the most banger songs I have ever heard and they fit TOO much in the scenes. To me they feel so good I even have 8 to 9 songs as my gym song.

I never reviewed a game before, but I feel like I need to do it now. The story and characters are awesome, and a lot of times I found myself laughing about what is happening. Truly a masterpiece, with a lot of work and a lot of hidden details. Keep it up!

Just wow.. one of the best written, well thought through and innovative stories I have ever encountered. This could be books, movies, everything.. pure bliss and fun to devour.
And the characters are just wholesome.. each one with their own fitting personality and background.

Eternum is my #1 AVN I am playing. Great LI's, amazing renders, and an incredible story. The only negative I could say about Eternum is that after you finish whatever the latest update is, it takes me at least a day or two before I even want to play a different AVN. Plus you immediately are jonesing for the next update.

I understand why many ppl love this game but for me it became a torment.

Visual and graphics

Sometimes its breathtaking especially backgrounds in virtual environment but from the start it looks awful for unprepared not a fan of anime style. 3 girls look alike: Annie, Nancy and Dalia. A lot of bloom and blur effects, ahegaos and other stupid poses with tongues out for fans of anime out of place from the start. Fan service and stuff. Later there are fewer of this bullshit and more enjoyable to watch/play. Same style and models from Pale Carnations with asian main hero. 5 stars if you like this style.

Animation

Cool, but there are not a lot of sex scenes in first episodes. For me it's not good fap material anyway.

Sound

It's ok. Don't understand why many like its osts i don't remember any good music from there. It's generic. And i met bug with music overlapping in costume party.

Text, dialogues

Interesting plot, good dialogues but chosen one line destroyed this game for me. It's so lazy and stupid. No one wonders how the strongest player reached the isolated server, how MC awake after playing the game without equipment and there are a lot of other holes in plot.
Eventually i got bored in ep.5 but somehow continued little by little this story.

Gameplay, replayability

Mostly it's kinetic novel. Only in the middle of game they make few choices results of which you'll meet a little later in episode. Mostly you can replay few slides back to make another choice if you didn't earn "heart" with lis.

Conclusion

If you like it's anime style with same models from this 3d software you would love this. Overall it's well done avn. If you like mysteries, adventure, a little fap material and silly jokes. There are a lot of fan service.

This is the best game on this site, probably one of the best games you will ever play. Games in general, I am not talking only about AVNs. Eternum has no weaknesses. As for its strengths, it has all the features that a great game should have. This is general speaking, because if you are reading this in hope of being swayed - just download it man, you will never forget it.

What I am considering weaknesses hovewer, is users IQ on this godforbiden site. WTF are you smoking guys - reading negative "reviews" made me make my own review. Let's jump to few "points" some... eeeh "people?" are talking about.

"Long waiting time" - you gotta be kidding, like, really? Go check BaDIK or What a Legend if you really think that Caribdis is slow, this is crazy talk.
"OMG THERE IS HAREM PATH IN HAREM GAME AND LI ARE INTO IT THAT'S UNREALISTIC" - What in the hell you guys were expecting? You are playing game from THE harem creator. Another crazy talk, like WTF???
"Writing is immature" - The level of writing which Caribdis posses is unmatchable on this site. If this is immature and deserving 2 or 3 stars I demand from people who say this to go and give 1 star to every other game here, because Eternum is king of writing. Nothing here compares.
"Jokes are not funny" - this is the worst and most oblivious offender. Like, come on, what are we comparing Eternum to? Seriously, can anybody answer me? What is level of humor that 5 stars here demand? If the most funny game on this site, with most funny MC on this site has bad jokes, then again, go give 1 star every other game. For the record - I think this game is really funny, like slightly towned down Trevor Wallace.

That's my review. I hope this game will have great conclusion to it's story and I hope Caribdis will make many more even greater games. Before that though - this is GOAT.

Edit - This has to be trolling. Same nanosecond I wrote this review. another particular individual wrote his - go check it out, it's right up there. What a goldmine. He even complains that Nancy and Dalia look similar - hmmm, seems that Caribdis really dropped the ball on this, why daughter looks similar to mother, I wonder.

Story is well written. Visuals are clean and smooth. Its not an open world game but flows in a way that allows for repeat play-through. While releases take a while to come out it is because you can feel the effort.

I'm glad this is almost my first experience with an adult VN. It's a bit unfortunate, though, because I've already played the best one.

this review is based on the last update only, 9.2. i played from the start which took me a whole nealy 4 days and just finished it,. The game has changed on the last update, not the usal Eternum style. After a long wait the current update turned to more diolouges than the usal style of game. I gess its winding down and not more to go on. Calisyo update was okay but still too much diolouges which did not add value to the story nor the actions about to happen. I hope the next update will be full of actions as ussal , The best part of this update is the last part when they install the bug . Oh almost forgot , the sex scense are dragging too long like 5 minutes not the usal ones if you play from the start,

Amazing game, the story is very well written and captivating, it is technically almost perfect which allows to be completely immersed.
One of if not the best game on here.
Bonus as well for the humour touches which are very well done.

This game is absolutely top-tier in virtually all departments

The story is immersive. There are many different characters who each have their own fleshed-out personalities. This extends beyond simply the MC and the LIs, as even the side characters have their own unique and often interesting quirks too, including Chang and one particularly persuasive salesman

The graphics are equally impressive, as are the sex scenes. There's a lot of humour to add to the proceedings too, which adds another layer of enjoyment to the gameplay. Each update brings new plot twists which are always fun to play through, evoking different emotions ranging from joy to sadness,. This dev already has one completed game under their belt, and that was brilliant. With Eternum, they managed to ramp up everything to make it even better than their first game

Many people love this game, so this might be just my personal issue, but there are several things I found problematic despite the game having many strengths—aside from the graphics/render.

The Render
The graphics are top-tier. Honestly, it’s hard to find another game that does better in terms of visual quality.

The Writing
The protagonist is your typical harem MC with a hidden “power” that always activates in dangerous situations. He presents himself as a caring, thoughtful character, yet his actions are often driven by pure lust. He aggressively keeps other men away from the women close to him, while sometimes behaving even worse than them.

He claims to be serious about one girl, yet the next day he tells another girl that he’s not pursuing a serious relationship yet. These contradictions make the MC feel unrealistic—his thoughts and actions often don’t match. In practice, it doesn’t disrupt the story because no one asks the right questions, allowing him to bend the truth without ever appearing to lie. This subtle manipulation can break immersion if you expect a consistent character, even though the story tries to portray him as “good.”

The Dialogue
The dialogue is overstuffed with reaction tags and filler:

• Chuckles appear every five lines.
• “Fuck yeah” or “Hell yeah” is repeated any time he’s excited.
• Hyperventilating happens every time he encounters an eerie situation—only for him to return to normal a few seconds later.

The dialogue tries too hard to be “real,” but it ends up making the MC feel more artificial than believable.

In Short
The MC behaves much like the male version of Rent-a-Girlfriend.
He flirts with multiple girls around him under the guise of being “caring” and accepting of everyone. I don’t mind a character who flirts with multiple people, but the problem is his hypocrisy—his thoughts, actions, and rules never fully match. He does whatever he wants without facing consequences, because that’s how the author decided the story should go. Still, if you can overlook his hypocrisy, the game is very enjoyable—especially with its incredible graphics.

Probably the best written game on F95, and the writing and story genuinely holds up to professional standards even outside of the porn industry. With the excellent renders, and sound design, along with exceptional game design (it is hard to really stand out with game design while within the Visual Novel genre, but Eternum manages to), this game is easily the most compelling I have played on this platform by a wide margin. I can only give congratulations to the developer for creating so epic and interesting a world and story. Bravo.

Technically I could go on very long about how well made this game is, however, you most likely would not want to read this (it's a miracle you're looking at the reviews at all).

Caribdis' Eternum is a true masterpiece amongst adult games, as long as you are actually caring for the game and not just a quick wank. That is to say: adult scenes in this game are sparse, but well placed. Their actual amount differs depending on if you screw up with one of the girls, which is very much possible and adds to their personalities and thus it's lively feeling. The renders are of meticulous quality and so is the choice and placement of (ambient) sounds/songs. The story itself is deeply captivating adding to the feeling of a VN with sense and is accompanied by well made suspensions, highs and lows. It doesn't even disappoint in the humor department, especially with the nice complementary character 'Chang', that accompanies the player really good.

So it seemsmy review did get a little longer in the end, but be assured, if you are a bit of an empathic/romantic you definitively enjoy Eternum very much; propably even if you aren't. I deeply recomend it.

This game delivers quite an amusing story, Comedy is always on point. and the cliffhangers man... Oh the cliffhangers. Ofc, there is always something that can be improved, some characters might lack the development a bit. but if not this, then what else deserves the 5 stars.

What more can I say about this game that has not already been said? This is a great game that I would play even without the hot scenes (which are really well done I might add). Why? Caribidis is quite truly one of the best VN writers I have had the pleasure of reading. His first game Once in a Lifetime is also (though dated graphics) a true gem that is worth playing. He also does not leave projects unfinished or take years between updates milking his supporters money. You can tell he truly takes his time to make sure that every update is complete, long, and well done before release. These are not rushed out where your wondering how the heck this ties into the original story. I love all the NPC's as they are unique, have a way of making you care about them, differences that help with the team and how you interact with them, and most of all do not just jump into bed with the MC within 5 minutes of knowing him. This game is a 10 out of 10 for me and I have been playing since its first release, so if you have not already download it and support the artist and wonderful story teller. You will not be dissapointed unless your looking for a cheap fap (plenty of that as the story builds).

Simply the best VN out there. Love all of the ladies, the plot is interesting and the humour just hits - much thanks to the excellent timing. Just wish there were moans in the sex-scenes which otherwise are top-notch.
