VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - A Clever Name [v0.04.7] [RandyJMarsh]

This game has good quality of renders and ok animations. Story is easy going and whole game has that relaxing, easy going vibe. What I must point out is size of updates... every update adds lot of fun, together with it's amount of kinks, this game is definetely worth a shot. I can recommend. 7/10. [v0.03.5].

Good Points
+In first minutes of game i was like ''What the hell?'' and i saw MC tell ''What the hell is going on'' and i was like criying out laugh Basically we have lots of weird and funny scene.

Bad Points
-General quality looks bad. Its not even good enough for telling ''decent''
-Body proportions looks weird. For example MC's legs and lower body is to much tall and upper body its to short or same weird body proportions goes for girls aswell and they look pretty weird.
-Well we have funny scenes but most of story is poorly writed. Like story grammer is not good either... I dont think its bad as much story writing but both of them connected eachoter and both of them have some problems.
-Sex scenes are pretty short and we dont have enough position for sex scenes either.

For The End
Long story short its little bit waste of time. If you want quick fap game with bad renders yeah its ok but if you are looking game you will get good render/animation quality with not badly writed story its not your game.

Well you need to see this from a diffrent point of view to like this game.
First of i want to say 4.5/5 for Story and its complexrty, You will Get alot of "fun time" for no grind at all. what i like in these kind of games"
4/5 for Renders, cant complain but misshapps just make it abit more comedy, kinda funny story if u read it all.
Well Cant say this is the perfect game but with no complains ive gotten this far, and the delivers of content is much and we See things happen.

As of version 0.03 I have to say I am loving this project.

Renders/animations 4/5 - this is mainly due to it being honey select and the sex animations tend to clip a little awkwardly.

Story 5/5 - This is not a serious game but has a nice story to it, no drama just good feels and fap times!

It has a nice assortment of body types and sizes, could use some more fetishes but all in all enjoyable all around.

Cant wait for the next update, great job Dev!

Really nice game !!! we are waiting the next updates , ash and rose and other fairie are the best , if we could have some decisions in the game it should be nice , and maybe some outfits we could choose too <3

Honestly
Simplicity is what makes this VN excellent. There isn't a hundred different plots going on at the same time. Yes, it does have the resemblance of several other VNs I've played before.
PROS
Story is simple

Grammar could use a brush up

There is no chase to the girls at all
Overall
Story has a good flow. The humor compliments where it's placed. For a 0.3, there is a ton of content. There is balance in the MC. He dominates and submits to the ladies accordingly as the need are presented in the story. I recommend this VN. It is a simple story, and there is no grind to make money.
The grammar does need some serious help though. I look forward to seeing new updates as they are released. Keep up the great work

Initially i just wanted to post some positive and negatives in the comments then i played through till completion of the current patch and i realized the game does that evolve,theres 3 important beats for good writing that is story, realism and characters in my opinion the only one he did right was the characters they were fun and enjoyable the story is non existent very linear and filled with plot conveniences then theres the realism he makes the chars do and say stuff no human would ever do so readily or at the very least soo quickly and yes ofcourse its a porn games right to the action but immersion is quite important in making an enjoyable product.
The models are quite well sometimes a bit confusing like with the chubby redhead shes obviously supposed to be over weight and yet she also super fit odd parallel but besides that you can tell the best models are the ones he dedicted more time on.

TLDR: it had soo much potential but whether its just the authors writing skills arent up to par or he just didnt focus on those points making it fall short, maybe if the author remade/rebooted this game focusing more on the story and realistic choices and actions possibly enlisting some better writers to help out it could be an amazing game in its current form its a 6.5 out of 10

Just bad all around. The renders suck and lack basic shit like shadows. Calling the characters one dimensional gives them too much credit; they exist solely to have an H scene shortly after their introduction. Writing is bad and just serves to quickly ferry you from one bad sex scene to the next through the use of boring cliches you've seen a thousand times already. Gives off the vibe the dev doesn't give a shit seeing how he can't even be bothered to use punctuation. Definitely not recommended for anyone.

The Good

- The amount of content is incredible: quite a lot of stuff, in such a little number of updates

The Meh

- The characters: Specifically how once MC has his personal harem, the girls (including MC's sister) basically decide to roast MC, belittling him like it's a sport, they've good stories, but basically they're solved once MC steps in to save each one of them, only to be disrespected, mocked, and used just for sex: There is no romance here, a few cute moments, but if i was in MC's shoes i wouldn't dare to live with so many people spitting lame offensive jokes like those that are made in the game, MC staying is the equivalent of someone pissing on their own dignity and shitting on their self-respect. I don't know why the dev thinks these jokes are funny, unless the dev is a nazi-feminist who considers men as "Walking Penis who have access to a bank account", which apparently (minus the penis thing) is a common fear of the men of this era: To wake up and being treated like a wallet by the woman they married. That aside, the joke wasn't funny the first time, why on god's green earth should be funny the fifth time? Actually repeating the joke should be worse on MC's self-esteem, because it goes from a one-time joke to...actual insults: This is how bullying begins "it's just a (hurtful) joke" and then becomes verbal abuse. To be fair MC doesn't have much of a personality...he is just...a decent human being, maybe a bit perverted(but who isn't?XD) who wants to live a pleasant and peaceful life, i'm okay with it, it's the classic average guy who survived family-abuse and moved on trying his best...then of course he meets a fairy but that's not part of his personality, it's the game's story...which is an unrelated point.

- The Graphic: It's barely "not bad" but not good enough to be considered decent, but the reason is simple and subjective: Honey Select is an easy win(mostly bc Daz can be so cringe)

The Bad

- The grammar: Nothing else to say, the dev needs to either find a proofreader or pass every sentence through a grammar-checking program(recommend: Grammarly or LanguageTool, even in their free-version they're very extremely good)

- The Main Character: I already mentioned something about him, but like in other reviews MC is this weird hero who saves the "love interests" and then gets disrespected, the only character who doesn't is the fairy...but the game isn't completed so...it may happen...

The Conclusion

it sounds like i'm trashing this game...but honestly, while i was playing this game i felt like the dev needed to make some easy money and decided to make a plain VN with low-quality stuff with low-quality writing...i don't mind VNs with this kind of plot...when the grammar is at least decent and the graphic around the average...but here? I found nothing good that's worth mentioning, aside the amount of content.

The girls are hot, the plot always works out in favor of the MC, the dialogue made me laugh out loud on several occasions, and the sex scenes are plenty. What's not to like?

The lack of punctuation and capitalization adds to the hilarity of the dialogue. I hope the dev never "fixes" that.

Lots of great content...

A sister (Neko), a stray, a lawyer, twins and a tranny round out the starting ladies. It all starts with a fairy, pixie, whatever stuck in a web. I wonder if at some point the pixie will be able to change size to get in on more of the fun.

With many kinks you can choose from there are options to suite many tastes. I highly recommend this one. You wont be disappointed.

I like that there is a game that has a playful atmosphere to it, while having my main kink being in it. I hope that it will continue to be a good game with lots of spankings. But, overall, I would recommend it if a person likes different kinds of kinks because it has them, whatever your kink would be.

20 hours of gameplay of a slow moving VN compressed into less than 1 hour. Lots of sex.

First off: I LOVE the perv fairy!

The game has a lot of sex already: oral, vaginal, anal, masturbation, and group sex. MC on girl(s), MC on transwoman (so far active only), F/F, M/F/F/F/T. Trans content and watching people peeing are optional/avoidable.

The story is very simple and straight-forward. Except for early choices it becomes a kinetic novel, which I hope will change. I like choices that impact the story.

The graphics and animations are not bad, but need some work. The models are rather rough around the edges and during animations sometimes penis or fingers penetrate textures they shouldn't. At one point in an animation there was some minor glitching, but otherwise good use of honey select (not my favourite, but ok). Also Ash's (perv fairy) placement needs work, she's covered by the text block a few times when she's masturbating.

I see this as a demo or proof of concept rather than the beginning of a game, because at this pace, I'm not sure how long it can go on.

Summary: I like it. We need more games with believable transwomen (and -men, but that's another story). Needs work, but a good first impression. 3.5, rounded up to 4 because of the perv fairy. Good luck, @RandyJMarsh (dev)! Will keep an eye on this one.
