VN - Ren'Py - A Couple's Duet of Love & Lust [v0.15.0] [King B]

Just finished my first playthrough, I tried to make this game into a wholesome partner-sharing game like Moonripple Lake, but got a perfect marriage game instead. I don't mind, I like wholesomeness, and for some reason the True Love routes are especially touching in NTR games (where NTR is avoidable).

Yet, it seems to get sharing content in this game there should be a certain amount of initial emotional infidelity or outright physical cheating. What I'm talking about is:
1) it seems to start the route with the black neighbor, Nat should pick a work-out with him over supporting her husband at his first first day at work, even without asking his opinion. I chose "decline", because agreeing to such a proposal without husband's approval is already emotional cheating. E.g. Suzie from Moonripple Lake would never do that, despite she's open to "sharing".
2) to start the route with the collegue, Ethan should touch her leg while flirting with her, so also act behind wife's back. I declined that because again that is emotional cheating
3) more or less the same with the old landlord

All in all, it seems the game has the choice between the true love route and different NTR-turning-in-NTS routes. There's no deadly-loyal-to-each-other swinging couple route, like in Moonripple Lake and many Atellier Sakura NTS games. I hoped to find it here, but a game doesn't have to be of the genre I want it to be, I guess. I really liked the true love route tho, so I'm not dissapointed.

Love this! Wifey doesn't start as a cum hungry whore, and hubby starts as your average white guy who loves the wife so much. I thought I've seen all of the available scenes, I'm still finding new ones as I play longer. Looking forward to its completion!

boring, overdone, predictable story, extremely cliche and unlikable characters, bad graphics thanks to stupid choice of filter, too much writing and nothing remotely interesting or funny in it, too little content for that amount of text. big waste of time.

The game has really nice idea and story. There are plenty of choices so you can go whatever route you prefer. There is quite a lot of content also, however a bit of variety would be better. The graphics should be also much better since the game started in 2021.

The characters and the relationship between them are perfectly spelled out. The art is not very good, but it does not interfere. I liked it very much. It's a pity the game isn't over. I want to see the sequel.

Its a decent game with multiple routes and good animation but my main issue is if that in most routes BBC content is unavoidable which I'm not a fan of. I don't understand the obsession with forcing BBC content in these type of games. It should always be optional.

One of the best wife corruption VN games I have come across. Good story buildup, is not over the top. Is a little quicker than some of the other games in terms of reaching the scenes but still doesnt seem rushed. The only other game that came to a buildup like this was Project Hotwife but that was a way slower burn.

Pros:

• Consistent updates.
• Art has been improving over time.

Cons:

• Ample amounts of different kinks, which should be a positive but in this instance its heavily restricted behind specific routes with arbitrary requirements, instead of just picking the scenes you would want to play you have to resort to the massive sprawling "not-walkthrough-flowchart" to try to reach the content you want, and even then you will be locked out of all other stuff necessitating multiple save file juggling.
• As a result of that, every route feels somewhat half-baked, the characters sexual personalities are split into so many different parts but the plot moves at the same rate, slowing the overall progression down to a bog, the characters feel flat and behave exactly like walking stereotypes with no substance.
• I call the requirements arbitrary because the characters seem to have opinions of their own to override your choices, you can't just pick whatever is obviously leading towards the kinks you want, the characters will do what they want and you instead have to consult the not-walkthrough to herd them like animals into the paths you want.
• The route bloat doesn't look to be slowing down as the walkthrough gets wider and wider, slowing down updates as it spreads between them.
• The borderline racism can be off-putting.
• Very glitchy graphics with character clothes and hair constantly moving independently from their sprite.

Looks bad. The dev has used a filter and instead of being an artistic direction, I guess it's more trying to disguise bad render quality. The filter is so heavy and severe you can't even tell what the original render even looked like.

Typical NTR wife sharing story tropes, doesn't seem like this will have an ending to the story because it's just meandering to nowhere.

Animations are fucking awful, I don't think this should even be called animation.

The game looks good and has an engaging story. I don't want to reduce the rating, but I have one major gripe that stops me from rating it 5 stars. As the game stands, there's a pivotal decision that determines whether or not the player enjoys being cucked. If you don't let the wife cheat on the husband with the first black dude, you're put on the vanilla route. Once on the vanilla route, you're locked out of all future scenes involving men other than the husband. This makes it more of a kinetic novel from that point onwards, which is my complaint. I wish there was the flexibility to opt in or out of scenes.

The visual component.
If you do not take into account the strange style at the beginning of the game, when the contours of the characters were drawn with thick black lines (they were too thick and did not look very good) and the locations from the irl were simply processed in the editor, then the game looks good. The business card of the game in the form of the main character looks great.
Plot.
It's interesting, confusing (in a good way) and with a whole lot of choices and interweaving of plot development options. In fact, the high variability of the narrative is insanely cool, but for me it always leads to the fact that I start testing the game for strength in terms of its variability and just drown in watching different choices and watching how they affect the further plot and whether they affect, but it's really cool. I was playing a game based on Peter's plot ( The plot in which a beautiful girl is gradually corrupted by someone who, in normal circumstances, has no chance of success, is my favorite. ) and I must pay tribute to the main character in this storyline, because the way she behaves and does not give herself offense (well, she He's trying, he's really trying) I like it, it doesn't make the character look flat, there is a feeling that he is spelled out well and the author has tried to do this. In general, to be honest, it feels like the one who handled the dialogues and the script is clearly not an amateur in this business. But I must note one of the most important plot and scenario inconsistencies for me-since I was going through the plot of Peter, I beat my head against the wall for a long time to get to the plot of development with him, but after spending a lot of time, I went to watch the guide. It turns out that everything I did was right, except for one thing, I had to respond to going to the gym with CONSENT and not refusal, and here I, as someone who tried to avoid interaction and development of events with other characters except Peter, did not understand at all why, in order to follow Peter's plot, I have to agree to another dude's proposal? I mean, it's not very logical and you can't think of it without a guide, and it's very not cool. Well, it's expected to be so-so, but there is one sound file that plays at the climax of a male character and it sounds like some old man on his deathbed ejaculates along the way going to heaven literally-it sounds very funny.

This game, first of all, will be remembered by me as an extremely immersive story with an interesting main character who does not sit on someone else's sausage after the first kuni, she has worries, doubts and pangs of conscience, I believed that the character is not cardboard and that she is a living person (the author was able to convey this to me in his way of presenting the plot), and not a walking masturbator.

Myself am not a fan of NTR games at all, but this game is simply a masterpiece, even if you follow the path of a decent husband, the main character will retain his own dignity and the game contains gorgeous scenes of scandals, I would like the game developer make more scenes of sexual revenge for the main character, over his unfaithful wife. Because now for a decent protagonist has only weak vanilla, and I get the impression, that life teaches him nothing. I express my respect and gratitude to the developer for his work, he is clearly a talented person. The game has very great potential, if the developer decides to use the main character not only as a cuckold, but also gives him opportunity to turn the situation upside down, and break wife's friend Jena and black bull, with help drugs and blackmai, everything like in life, without fantasy. This path can be turned on after the husband, catches his wife with a black bull near the car park

Concur what other reviewers have said, starts off a bit slow but the game shines when your decisions really start to make an impact . If you are into the themes that the game offers, you will love the game!

It's a masterpiece, one of the best game I ever played. The storyline is well done, good graphics. If you like netotare game, it's a must to play without any doubt. A couple's duet may be extended for more and more chapters without losing interest and focus in a good story.

If I hadn't checked the walkthrough PDF, I may have given this a different score: four stars, but no. Almost tempted to make it two. But I can't do that, three it is, Nat gets railed good and I appreciate the attempt at a branching story.

So yeah, first play-through on cuck route (minus the cum eating - oof (actually, not completed it, scene 50-ish, I think)) and looking at the walkthrough, there seemed loads of paths. That got me interested, what happens if I play it like I'm no cuck! So, I tried a new game.

Don't get me wrong, it is impressive that there are routes that maze through the story. That's the making of a good VN, no?!

NO, it seems not in this case. Anyway, so going the other way as in, not to be cucked - as those are choices you can make - Ethan was for some reason melodramatic (out of character, enough so that Nat thought so, too). But it pissed her off... Naturally.

... so she goes to the gym with the BBC and when he slides his hand to her twat and she stops him (player choice, but I wanted to see the reaction), she is confused because her husband encouraged her despite him saying - stay away from him whilst having a pissy fit. Ergo, there's an issue with the branching (outside of cuckdom).

And let's not give Nat a break either as she is too quick - despite her rightly calling out some things - to accommodate the idea of being a bad wife.

It was clear to me then that there was only one path to follow, realistically. That's a shame, because looking at the PDF, you could tell the Dev put a lot of effort into the branching story - but fell short in actually it leading to different outcomes ----

And yes, we all know if being the dutiful husband (in the game I would still appreciate being able to nail all the female cast! Or die trying!) and a dutiful wife the content would be boring (apart from nailing all the female cast)... so why bother, eh? If you get me.

Maybe the Dev tried to hit the mark/balance to make it work. It didn't work for me when I tried a route I wouldn't have. Ethan angry and Nat upset was just not good.

Ultimately, if you like cuck or, you like hot-wife debauchery. Then, give it a shot. Just don't try and play it any different - it's a choice-based rail-road!

A pretty bad game.

Played this on a Mac and have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. It almost allowed just enough choices to make the cuck husband suffer. Visually not the best looking game but I'm sure the dev is going for his own preferred style. Had some very well constructed "cold sweat cuck" moments throughout. Sending his wife to a Frat house was probably the hottest part of the VN for me. Sure, she experienced BBC but it felt too refined and controlled. Personally, I'd have wanted Nat to feel overpowered by the brute force of another man. Allowing her to escape her perception of safety and orgasm harder. I do hope the Ethan the husband ends up making his gorgeous wife experience things she'd never dreamed of. Nice, fun game. Again, visually not the best looking VN but still kept me interested enough to play it without stopping.

Unique art style, interesting storytelling overall. The best part is it comes with game guide, so you're never lost.

Small gripes are the various branches are developed separately, so you'll have to pick a path and some end quite early. Maybe come back in a few years, see if it's complete.
