Anyone else feeling that there has been especially long draught without quality updates/new quality games to play. I feel that the games i follow just hit a major hiatus, and its too long since anything fun new relase was made. I dont know if the noble guys that share has been fewer or the developers has hit a fatigue, but some games are definatley stalling. So anyone have any games to recomend that isnt based on incest with ok chaacters and story or have i played them all and just have to bide my time?

In my opinion market is just overloaded at this point. Patreon scared incest creators, incest creators are most of the creators due to how simple idea it is to implement and no new standard model for adult games appeared. Biggest fishes are stalling as they can cuz new game might mean fewer patrons, smaller devs are trying to copy biggest devs and are scared of Patreon's reaction. Incest per se is so common it's not even a vanilla at this point so games are lower and lower in quality as you can't endlessly exploit 1 idea and expect some success. I assume that in 2-4 years whole industry will change a lot.
Yes, for games without incest, when it comes to incest there seem no stopping how many you can do and its still popular.
Im talking about the rest of the games, there´s bound to be well made adult games not based on incest with frequent updates that i missed, but looking around now, there doesnt seem to be a whole lot. you see some game started but with slower and slower updates, promising ideas never fulfilled, great Graphics but not really anything else.
Its strange though as the new patreon rules should make Life hardest for the games with incest you would Think, so i dont know if that idea holds water.
Yes, translated japanese games are fine, RPGM games are fine, i just want something fun with a good story of reasonable length that isnt spelled whats-her-name humbling experience, although probably both fun and long, was very buggy when i tried to play it.

The majority of adult games these days feature incest...the top 50 on Patreon certainly do with few exceptions...
it is only natural that most dev's try to copy success leading to this funny and sad (for those who seek variety)

There is no money to be made if you ignore the most popular kinks and for most dev's this ain't a hobby...
Despite the little Patreon crisis which basically is over or paused by now games that do not feature incest are rare and there is little demand that could change that...so the ever repeating story of mom&sis it is...if on top you want it to be a western made game...uhmm good luck.
Maybe a feature request would help...a tag which says "no-incest"...a search function to exclude it to find the few gems out there that try to be different easier...

While on one hand I agree, and it is a shame that we see fewer games currently being developed consistently. I do believe it's for the best... As they say, quality over quantity.
We were all witness to a wave of shitty, rushed, broken, incoherent messes of games.
So many were copy-and-paste of other, more successful titles. Others were just haphazardly cobbled games that even Jim Sterling wouldn't have reviewed if they were games on Steam.
Too many people just jumped on every version 0.001 release and immediately funded every one of those "projects" without a blink. And so, a twisted loop came into being, where a new "project" demo 0.0.0.1 beta was launched, "developed" for 2-3 months and then abandoned. Rinse and repeat.
Hopefully, a new system will be put into place for adult games to launch and get funded, but in a more responsible way.

Unlikely. Something a lot of people haven't mentioned in this thread is just the sheer quantity of new games coming out. By new I mean version 0.1 or whatever they use for initial releases. It seems like at least 9 out of 10 updates rolling out over the summer were new games. People trying their hand at it before going back to university in the Fall or whatever.
Another unfortunate truth is how fucking toxic people are on here. People don't have the slightest hesitation to absolutely rip a dev or their work to complete shreds because it doesn't 100% fit their desires. They've all but crucified devs for things like NTR, Beast, Eric, etc. and when they do that it, they kill the game. They wring every shred of passion out of the devs for making the story their own way and making the story good, and put the dev into apology mode trying to just appease to a bunch of whining man children.
People just refuse to ignore the genre title and try to have an open mind. Most of the games have characters that look the same across all the games, because the second someone tries to go outside of the cookie cutter mold they get absolutely obliterated. There's not a lack of good games, there's an abundance of morons in the community drowning out people who truly appreciate the story, regardless of whatever taboo is present.
This right now is the peak of making money for these adult games, but the true future hopefully will be completed stories getting released all at once, rather than the prolonged milking. Unfortunately, that is a long ways away without something like DRM.

It is interesting indeed how The Western H-game market is going throught the same thing the ps2 experienced. and steam is currently living which is: a ton of shovelware in the form of "visual novels" 3D asset flips etc. Then you have the milkers who as soon as their game gets enought money there is a dip in quality. I guess the only ones to blame are us for being mindless consumers.

Got to remember that this is an amateur based adult/erotic market for most products in this genre of visual novels and games... So there will always be ups and downs... With various factors coming into play that help perpetuate that effect... A lot of the big hitters have been going through development for long periods of time... Perhaps even before sites like Patreon came along... During those moments, we've seen a major influx of very specific fetish focused stories... And because of the Gold Rush commonly referred to as the patron subscription based donation websites, there have been a lot of first timers trying to jump on the coat tails of the more successful big hitters, mostly hoping to get a piece of the Gold Rush pie... But of course with many changes happening, disallowing many of the more risqué fetishes on some of those patron based websites, it is only adding to the up and down effect...
Plus, for a long while there, we had a huge influx of Family Sex stories, most of which either felt like copy cats or were so poorly made, that I think a lot of folks are getting tired of it, and want some more creative ideas... I can't tell you how many first time creators there are, that don't necessarily have the talent for it... Again, it's that diamond in the ruff that happens only every so often... And it's sad when they burn out like a shooting star... Another occurrence that adds to the up and down...
Of course, you will always have some folks who never change, and just want what they want... But the market is made up mostly of people coming and going, wanting all sorts of different things from one moment to the next... Most players/readers of these sorts of VN/Games don't stick around for long once they've gotten their jollies... Most tend to move on to other things, either disillusioned at the plethora of bad starters, or they got what they wanted, and life rolled on... That's how it goes with Porn... There is just so much of it...
I mostly stick around with this genre, hoping to find those few diamonds in the ruff, that present themselves to be more then just common porn... It's a big reason for why I like meaningful and deep stories so much... I don't mind porn fests now and then, especially if they have great stories to mix it up... I'm also an avid novel reader... Heck I was one of those nerds that spent most of their free time during Jr. High and High School hanging about in the libraries or playing table top role playing games with my friends... So, for me, a great story, with well developed characters, to go along with my porn, is a heaven onto itself... I don't want just regular ole masturbating porn all the time... I've seen enough of it over the last 3+ decades to make my head spin... I want something more, something fun, something meaningful, something with meat on it's bones...
