Yes in the game industry usually the beta versions are meant for testing but that is not the case here, alpha is the early version released for subs for bug testing and then the beta version is the more stable one.On the waiting i agree fully but you got the alpha comment wrong. Sry.Alpha is dev process, beta is tests. Usual.

Porn games have weird name versions, it's also not uncommon to have a game with a 0.9 version and the next version instead of being the 1.0, it's 0.10.

That's super normal, though. It's not a decimal number, it's MAJOR.MINOR. You can do versions any way you like, but commonly, the first number changes for major revisions, or you set it to 1.0 when you consider it done.
On the subject of RenPy games, Python is currently at version 3.13, for example.
Still 0.09, is anything added in V2 over V1, or is it just bug fixes?

yap thers new stuff (like 1 to 2 hours playtime) and a littlebit of new stuff should be added in the beta the alpha might be buggy for some its only ment for testing but i couldnt wait
