Don’t let the number on SS fool you. It says $4,700 right now, but what actually processed in June was just over $3400 and that’s before SS took their cut. Unfortunately that’s not quite enough for me to survive on part time pay, especially since my wife is no longer able to work due to sickness. Going part time also makes me lose my benefits.
