still waiting for an update. tried both loyal and ntr paths. loyal seems to be much interesting and rewarding, while ntr despite once in a while gets to fk jacky in vip room other than that the mc is fked up watching all his women getting fked by literally everybody except him and his women literally ignoring his hardwork to maintain the family and family finance his women just becomes sex maniacs and in ntr path his only solution and salvation seems to be diaz but she has no story so mc is stuck watchin his women fking everybody and ignoring his good work. he could just abandon them at this point in ntr path. in loyal path however he gets rewarded and the girls are nicer to him. its a shame the game is taking too long between each update. would have been nice to play it again from the very begining till the very end trying all the paths. but with full story

I like your idea about the NTR path. I mentioned that too. It would be Nice to see Ryan pull the plug on All of them (except maybe Mandy, who's as devious and strategic as he). He could confront them all about showing him a little love & respect since it was his ideas & hard work to get them to where they are. Particularly because, for all that he did to avoid the situation, Jacky winds up dancing in the club willingly. When he gets his answers of "My Body, My Choice", then he tells them "Fine, My Studio, My Ideas, My Connections, MY Choice." Diaz, watching all of this from the van, sees that Ryan has more cajones than she gave him credit for. She sidles up to him & finds new girls for him to shoot & exploit. As by that time, he would have a substantial amount saved, He can leave Jacky & Sidney in the club to "work" off the family debt, leave Lauren with Matt to see just how & how long that he would take care of her on his allowance and simply turn his back on Cami, since she does nothing for him anyway. Mandy's been the only one relatively supportive and it was only out of revenge on her mother, so there's that.
Now THAT, ladies & gentlemen, is what I call A Plot Twist!

Release Date / Proof of Life

Today while taking inventory of my time and what's left to finish up the update, I think I can say with some degree of confidence that I should be able to release the Alpha build in two weeks. So two weeks from today being Oct 15th.

In the past this much time between updates would mean a pretty big update, but unfortunately I can't say the same about this one. This amount of content in this update should have been able to be completed in two months time. I'm sorry for the circumstances that almost ground my production to a halt, and for my emotional state that I couldn't just keep working through it. I'm sorry that those circumstances made communicating with all of you almost as hard for me as developing the game. I'm especially sorry to Strenif, Most of you probably know that he's been more of the face for AFV than I have for a while. He renders images, writes scripts, storyboards, and all of this is just volunteer work. He's been out there on discord, F95, and elsewhere, trying to defend me as a developer but has been almost as much in the dark as all of you.

I wish I could say that everything is better now and everything is going to go back to how it was, but the truth is that I'm still kind of recovering from the emotional trauma I've recently gone through. Most of those elements that caused that trauma are still present in my life (you can't escape family), but for now they seem to be moving in a more positive direction and I've been figuring out how to deal with them in a healthier way. So I have reason to feel hopeful that things will stabilize and my production can go back to normal again.

I know people think I'm just getting burnt out with AFV, and for a while I thought maybe I was too. But really I think I was just getting burnt out with life in general and AFV was the casualty of that burnout since it's production lives in my free time. It's really hard to make free time productive when you're down and feeling depressed. So, I'm not burnt out with AFV. I still love AFV, and I love where we are in the story and I'm so excited that we're finally getting to the best parts that we've been working so hard to lay the foundations for.

I can only ask that you guys keep trying to be patient with me. I'm doing everything I can to get things in my life back on track and I'm starting to see some positive results. As always, thanks for your all the support and I promise I'll do my best to keep AFV going forward. Have a great week!

P.S. Strenif recently made some really great fan-arts that you can check out on Discord. I'll post them for everyone here later tonight as well when I'm in an environment where I can pull those kinds of images up on my computer screen.

Just out of curiosity, if making AVN is no more a pleasure to you, did you consider to pass (or sell) this asset to another dev ?
I am just asking because I really like what you have done and to see your project dying is not what I would like to see.Maybe it would be best to hand it over with a compensation and crediting the first part to you...?

If it is really to much for him, maybe then he should stop taking ppls money and let strenif take over, strenif is committed, you can tell. Id give strenif my money again. Many of us did pay ( me ) for his updates. But got tired of the excuses. When I said Id probably be dead before the game finishes, I meant it, but im far off the mark, will most likely be much much sooner than I had hoped. Cancer is a bitch and dont see anyway to beat it. Anyhow I think the game is great, have high hopes for it. Just need someone more committed to finishing it. I do hope that I get to play at least one more update. As far as WT is concerned, I'm willing to give him a slight benefit of the doubt. In my youth, I suffered from deep depression. The best way, at least for me, to beat it was to take the small victories that you create just getting through the day and keeping positive people around you. IDK what Will is going through but I can understnd that, when you're in a dark place, you don't want to talk to Anyone, so I get it. It seems that AFV has become his focus again, as it Should because it is something that he can control and be proud of as he goes along.

So for now am going day by day. I can not plan ahead for anything except the up coming treatments ( radiation and chemo ). I plan on fighting as hard and as long as I can. I'm so sorry to hear about that, is there any hope if you do aggressive treatment? (since you're young and your body can probably take it). Have you got to the point where you're coughing blood? My grandma was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and survived for 3 years (and she was an old woman).
Regarding the game I don't think strenif can take over even if he wanted to, unless WillTylor is willing to pass it over, and I don't think he is, when he's making that much money already and people don't seem to care getting milked.

There is currently no long term consequence to letting Diaz have fun with the girls instead of paying her.

Diaz doesn't get to have much fun with the girls from what I've been able to unlock. Hopefully there will be much more involving them in future updates.

I think you should go into partnership with Strenif and cut him in on the profits. Seems only fair. Sharing the workload would lead to more frequent updates and increased revenue for you both. Just my opinion, though. As far as your emotional issues go - as my dad used to say: "You can choose your friends, but not your relatives."

Anyway, great game. I hope things in your real life get better.

I have 3 cancer app on Oct 8, will be my first ones. Not sure if what or how they are going to go, I just got bk home from spending 2 weeks in hospital. Today is 3rd day home. Still lots to figure out, dont think anymore test ( hope not ) bc hospital did pretty much all tests. But most likely will be some to see if cancer grew/spread more. Felt like a pin cushion for a while there.lol. They got me stable and strong enough to come home, and seem to be doing okay for now. Its all I know for now, other than its everywhere. So some form of aggressive treatment may be the plan. Treatment is in the city where all the good Dr are, so Im openminded about things I guess. Gonna fight the shit out of this anyways. Im glad someone said it. If Will is seriously going through shit he should have paused payments at the very least. He has stated he has a job. It isnt fair to the people who pay him monthly to pay for NOTHING.

The last update came out in March and even with that, im pretty sure the previous update took a good while as well. Probably not this long. He has 2.2k subs on SS. At the bare minimum he is getting like 1.8k after taxes/fees FOR FREE! He has stated he has a job as well. Dont know about his wife or any other family that was supposedly staying with him.


There isnt a reason to give him the "benefit of the doubt" other than to just be complacent and nice. Now, obviously, I have since stopped giving him money when I saw the signs so I dont have much stake but it is still disgusting to see people still baby this grown man milking sob.

In short, pause payments. Refund your SS subbers for at least half the months since you been neglecting the game. Really it should be 7 but3-4 is a healthy compromise.
