A few tag thoughs (probably rambling)

Noted theres a few tags that really could use clarification in either direction, such as 'NTR' 'Cheating': Are you being cheated, or are you cheating, or are you making others cheat. Often the descriptions dosnt really tell, nor does the tags. For some that dosnt matter I supose, for some like me, it very much does.

A tag that dosnt exist that I really would like to be able to sort out myself would be something like 'RTRD' for 'retarded main character' ... not finding any pleasure in having a MC explain how stupid he is and/or not being able to avoid the most horrible of obiously stupid ideas... that one would be nice to click as 'do not want' and sort out. Supose for those who enjoy it that would be similary usefull to have easy to find.

In general, some tags are extremly obious (which is great), but others are like 'Are there X content or its totall uncompatible Y content' and the answer is 'Yes'. Faceplants gives headache.
Pretty sure theres a bunch of others where that could be usefull too... dominance/submission. Whos dominant, whos submissive, is it an open choise? Nobody knows.

Seen someone sugest a raceplay tag, which I suspect can have similar issues to the dom/sub if it gets popular... whos who? Again to many not an issue, their switch or whatever, but not everyone is, simply that it exists in a game may not be quite enough info to clarify whats going on.

Do I have a grand solution? Nope... would throw it in a request thread then, just a bit of fishfood thoughts thrown out there, aint sure that making a billion new tags for every quirky sub category is a great idea either, just that I hope someone comes up with thoughts for how to solve what I percive myself as a bit of issue.

I agree with regarding the NTR/Netori tag, since the majority of NTR game threads have like 20 or so comments where people ask for clarification on whos doing whos woman.

As for the RTRD I learned that a lot of games with a teenage/young MC is always making the most retarded decisions but I doubt such a tag would ever be implemented since there's too much grey area and porn games are not known for their intelligent characters.

Also I'm pretty sure theres already a tag for describing whos gonna be dominated its called male domination and female domination that tells you whos gonna wear the pants in the relationship.

As much as I hate stupid MCs, the "RTRD" tag would be useless, it would apply to almost every game. I just go into games assuming the MC has some form of brain damage as default.

Another one is "lesbian(/gay)", that one should only be used if a character has at least 2-3 scenes and the option of never sexually engaging with any character of the opposite sex (or if explicitly stated). Or add a "homosexual protagonist" to combine with the M/F ones. Mixed threesomes should always count as "bisexual" at best.

If this site can somehow support it maybe there could be "namespaces" or "suffixes" to construct composite tags without manually coding each permutation? Not sure on NTR terminology but for example "give:rape:self" would be a protagonist raping someone while "take:rape:\other" would be an NPC in no direct relation to the PC getting raped. This could also be used for a little more nuance where people can be put off by the difference e.g. "vore:hard" or "ryona:soft" depending on whether or not blood is spilled.

And I know this site prefers a more minimalist approach to tagging but to me that simply makes the entire system useless. No reason to blacklist tags either because then I'd potentially lose well-written games with clearly marked optional paths as well.
