HTML - A Foolproof Plan [Ch.3] [HubbGames]

I'm a sucker for NTR games, even bad ones. So far, this is one of the latter.

The story has a single interesting premise, the overweight wife which could develop in so many interesting ways, but already I'm seeing such a lack of imagination in the story I don't see it breaking the most overused trope much at all. It's also extremely short even for a 0.1.

MC is the overused small dicked beta male that can't even be bothered to please his wife. Where most beta NTR MC's haven't even heard of something so profound as foreplay, he outright refuses to do so. When the antagonist faces him, this beta doesn't even have the balls to stand up for himself at all.

As for the plot, there's not even any clear indication of what this "foolproof plan" is. It's in the name of the game and all that exists barely amounts to quick introductions of the four characters. There's no real story hook at all yet. Just like when you write a story, you need to grab the readers attention fast. There's nothing here to carry it beyond the game tags.

The UI is basic but fine. To the guy below complaining about font size, you can change the font size like any normal web page (holding the control key while scrolling over the page.)

The art is decent enough. Typical AI fare that could have a little better consistency between images, but I've seen much worse.

I'd rate it closer to 1.5 because of how weak the story feels so far but I rounded up since it does look like the second girl will be a potential LI of the MC allowing a bit of revenge on the antagonist. I do like when the MC gets a chance for revenge. Too bad the rest of the story feels so generic.

I'll check back in the future and adjust my score accordingly, but I don't have very high expectations.

As someone who's thinking of making a kinetic novel, I enjoyed this as a reminder of how you don't need bells and whistles to make something fappable, and do we really need more than that in a porn game?

All it takes, apparently, is one hot twist on the usual NTR formula, and everything else can just be passable, maybe even a little below average from a writing and presentation standpoint.

I swear I don't mean that in a backhanded way -- I think it's an efficient use of time and effort. The premise is hot, the models are good, the pacing is fast but doesn't skip teasing steps. I expect to cum next time there's a payoff scene. I like seeing that done with so little fluff.

Idk, I think this site features a lot of artists who are so caught up in their own legitimate brilliance that they run their projects into the ground chasing perfection.

EDIT: I was kinda hoping the writing would get better, not worse. I still think it's a solid practice project, but looking back, 3 stars seems more appropriate.

A terrible example of MC gaslighting and insecurity projection onto the other characters with no meaningful difference between the choices. The presentation given gives me no feeling that any of these paths will be fleshed out at all and are really just a bunch of bad endings included to emphasize the author's intention: personal sexual insecurity.

Review of Ch.1

Art is somewhat consistent at least although poor quality and overdone in places.

The writing is poor and the story is exceptionally low quality, consisting of the same old tired tropes.

The game consists of a set of A or B options, if you pick the wrong one, you get shunted into a short ending and then go back to a previous choice with no consequences.

Finally, the most egregious (although also minor) issue I had was that the text is absolutely massive and looks terrible.

Also there was at least one missing image link.

Overall, not a great start.
