I want a game like Friends In Need where the mc helps people with his money

Strive for power has some of this. Player is Lord of a Manor and you can get a bunch of servants who you can be as nice or as mean to as you want. It has a few characters who have a small quest where you can help them out money wise (buy out their slave contract, find them begging on the street and offer them to live with you, that sorta thing.)

Haven't played the sequel yet (Strive Conquest) but would assume there's also similar options in that.
