Time was I'd pick up any game with decent looking models/animations and a solid enough amount of content. I've gotten to a point where I'm not that big on VN's anymore, games where you can literally just hold down skip until you hit a choice. At this point unless said game has critical acclaim I just DL a walkthrough/gallery mod anyway. Not always the case, VN's can be super compelling, but I'm craving a bit more than reading dialogue and making dialogue choices.
Lately games that caught my attention have been more like NLT's games like Lust Epidemic/Treasure of Nadia/Genesis Order (Crafting, exploring, some puzzles, etc), Last Hope (open sandbox where you need to plan with schedules, there's actual mechanics you need to progress the game, etc) or the biggest one for me in recent memory is Mystwood Manor (seriously, I have friends who thought I was crazy suggesting a game focused on a hotel management sim, but that part was almost more addicting than the porn part)
I'm not looking for some AAA game with a "gameplay first" mentality or anything, but I'd really like a game where the stuff in between the porn is more than just...the stuff in between the porn. I'm not saying give me some RPGM game or anything where you have to go 8 maps to the left to get the item 4 maps down to have sex with the girl 12 maps to the right (despite literally saying I enjoy NLT's earlier), just something where I don't see the game as an annoyance I have to get through to get to the sex.
That said...still majorly here for the sex. The DeLuca Family might be a masterpiece but I'm still on this site for the porn.
