Backgrounds are too clean, without any errors. They look... a bit weird but not broken. I feel like AT MOST they are made in some program that lets you create backgrounds using props or something like that?

But you also do have a very good point. People go into a game to have fun and escape reality a little. The last thing many people want to see, especially before a steamy scene, is my personal thoughts on representation, agp, and identity. Like you said, it does kill the mood and also messes with the flow of the scene and detracts from the experience.

While I won't remove the explanation from the game, I will probably move it to another place. Maybe behind a button so that the player needs to make the conscious decision to view it and engage with it.

Your game is great so far I just felt like you were under duress to write that to pre-empt potential backlash that is not the case as you truly believe it. I will admit I was being harsh at the time of writing that message because at that point it really killed the vibe of the game. You are a passionate person and it reflects in your work and I had enjoyed reading your author's notes until this point as they helped guide my decisions for a more enjoyable playthrough. I will be completely honest if you had the note at the start of the game or post game explanation I doubt I would have made such a fuss about it. The timing more than the message bothered me.

As for my personal thoughts on the message itself I don't think it is actually as inclusive as you think it might be but I do respect you have your own opinion on that which is fine and don't think what I am about to write invalidates your opinion.
To me autogynephilia is a lot more complicated. Yes I don't disagree it has been used for nefarious ends by certain groups you are right on that but this particular line 'Keep in mind that autogynephilia is mostly nonsense created to invalidate trans women!' did bother me a bit because I really don't believe its that simple at all. Is it really trans positive or inclusive to immediately invalidate how some people feel because of your personal beliefs? Regardless I think you did a good job writing the 'thinking of yourself as hot girl' scene despite your personal feelings on the matter.

Then the line where you wrote 'fetishizing trans women, femboys, and other gender non-conforming people'. The way this was written in your author's note had negative implications to those who did fetishizie these groups I could be wrong but what I am about to write is how I interpreted what you said. You don't think this game in its entirety does this to a certain degree? The real question is does it matter whether people fetishize people at all? If I meet a partner by them approaching me because they have an initial attraction to my chest size rather than my personality or anything we have in common am I just an object fetishized by them? Truth is we all do to a certain degree. Most fetishes and kinks are innate characteristics or erotic behaviors we are attracted to doesn't mean are feelings towards them are only lustful. This feels to me like a suggestion that those who do have an initial attraction to those features are unable to develop beyond pure lust into a mutual romantic relationship.

Just those 2 statements stood out to me as for your opinion on autogynephlia I think I will just agree to disagree which is fine but like I said if you want an inclusive game presenting an opinion as fact is definitely not inclusive. As for fetishiziation I think that is just an overly negative view on what kinks and fetishes are. A lot of your fans will find this game to be a way to fulfil personal kinks and fetishes of theirs? Does that bother you as a developer you are ultimately contributing to that fetishization whether intentionally or not?

As you stated how these minority groups are presented in media is important to you so given that, by your own logic are you presenting them in a negative way in media? For me personally I don't believe that at all and I am grateful a skilled dev such as yourself has joined this space. I think it will serve as both a great escapist fantasy for those who fetishsize it and a great story that portrays those struggling with their identity in a positive manner. I had no doubt in your ability to be respectful and considerate to all the groups and until you wrote that author's note I didn't even question it. I sincerely hope no one has been attacking you because they believe you are doing that.

You had me hooked and immersed in the world that surrounded the MC and their journey. Their approach to these circumstances had me hooked for what would come next. I was pulled away from it all and what I wrote above was going through my mind instead of focusing on the MC's sexual awakening and starting a new chapter in their life. The art looks great I look forward to how you will add that into the game and where you go next with the story. Appreciate how you have a mix of romance interests and a MC that has a struggle with their sexual identity as well as their gender identity. Despite my frustrations with the author's note I am very positive about the rest of the game and hope this doesn't put you off contributing more in this space.

Yup, I completely get it. I took some time to think about the timing and contents of the message and thought it detracted from the game as well. Don't worry about being harsh, I've had people be way more rude. Just have to learn to deal with it if you're going to be uploading something you made on the internet. And yeah, I'm that type of annoying person that genuinely cares about representation in media. Nobody has even said anything even implying this game fetishizes non cis ppl. It was all me.

Okay, this is a really good question. I do think I could get bothered about the way some people play this game. I've heard from some people that they just rush to a transformation point and then masturbate when they see the changes reflected in the paperdoll. While I don't want to police how people play the game, that's very clearly not how it was meant to be played. But I can't control how people play the game, so I don't see the point in losing sleep over it.

Don't worry, as I said, nobody's attacked me at all saying this game promotes a harmful ideology or something. I think overall, especially compared to the average game with gender themes on this site and TFGS, it does a good job with representation. I'm not perfect, and I'm sure I've messed up a few times, but overall I think this game isn't harmful to trans people in any way.

Side note: The only complaint about bad representation I've gotten from over 600 survey results is someone being upset at jabs at weight in this game. (Like when MC makes fun of Lily and says she's getting chubby) I think that's ridiculous.

I appreciate it! I do appreciate the more detailed line. I assume when you sent the first post, you were kind of pissed because of how much that author's note detracts from the experience. I'm glad you enjoyed this game and trust me when I say I won't be put off contributing to F95Zone. If anything, I've been very, very pleasantly surprised by the positive feedback I've gotten here.

How much is in the game at the moment? And I don't mean entirely from a lewd perspective, more so just how fleshed out the story, characters and systems are at this stage. It's only at v0.14 so I'm assuming there's not a huge amount but it is a project I'm interested in following.

In the public release, there are currently 113.9k words. In an average playthrough, you're likely to see about 70k, which is about the length of an average novel. This game is still very early days, I'll admit. I only started working on it in September of 2024, and it's only been released for 3.5 months. It's made a ton of progress though and With how much I've been writing and adding to this game, I think this game will continue growing at a very quick rate. The link to the changelog is

But to answer your question more directly, it's still very early days for this project. But as peanutgallery said, there is still a decent amount to sink your teeth into. I'd say this game will take about 1.5 hours to finish if you skim it and 4 hours if you take your time.

While I don't know about the exact process the artist takes, I can assure you all the ones with a watermark are not AI. It is possible though that the artist makes it in blender or another 3d modelling program and traces over it though.

I am planning on adding the 4 natural hair colors (black, red, brown, blonde) and a selection of popular and cute hairstyles. You will be able to cut your hair, but I'm still mulling over how I should handle that.

As for the future of adult content in this game, there will be adult content. Right now, the masturbation scene is kind of hamfisted in there, but I'll be reworking the first 8 days once I've significantly improved as a writer to make it fit in more naturally. There will probably be an optional masturbation scene once a week or two in game. As for sex scenes, it'll take a while to get there. But the stuff I have planned, I think it'll be really good. I've already outlined each RO's sexual preferences, fetishes, etc. I hope you all enjoy it when I get there.
