Because this is based on a story that was already written, I expect Jake will happen quickly when it does. In the actual story, Jake is basically the only dude she cheats with. For the sake of a VN palmer had to add and add to character details/story but Jake was the main focus of the story that came before this VN. I'm pretty sure the author posts here, btw, so I assume jake will eventually become "the main" but I think that would make the story worse. Jake actually being later in line and/or a much less "used" partner would serve the best story but the story itself is...fine, not great...so I don't know if the author/palmer can maximize this story. We'll see (and zero offense to either, any work shared is appreciated).

I just got bored with Chris...if it's not sex then show tease with someone else...Leonard, grant, Jake, marcel anyone....I mean so many characters are left... use them....there will be few who gets sex so I don't think Jake will be main...but for the sake of story, David will get angry because of him...David gets jealous of Jake, hank n grant as of now...but Hank n grant are old so he don't see them as someone who can replace him. Rest are his friends, he doesn't have a clue. But when it comes to jealousy, Jake is the one who'll piss him off the most. So MP should use him for that for actual fight. He won't be the only one who will get Ana. And I don't think that MP has aftermath story in his mind like if they get separated, who all will fuck Ana and who will she choose....MP aim will end the same way where original VN ends. In corruption route, he might show that Ana lives alone like a slut/she choose to be with someone but he'll not extend that story. He's just extending this tease fest in between the main climax of story where Ana will get caught.

Yes that's unfortunate. Story is good, setup is good. Then comes slow pace development and on top of that few slow corrupt lovers who never want to see sex in their life. They are satisfied by handjob and similar tease.

And the hypocrisy of these fan following is they say FMC cheated if she gives handjob but on the other hand if the developer show complete sex scene as a cheating scene then they get angry and say she became slut and game become boring haha. So cheating upto tease level is acceptable to them and they enjoy it as cheating scene but up to sex level became whore and slut. So even if the story remains the same, but scene wise if FMC do sex, the game becomes boring to them.

I think you're conflating different people's responses and passing them off as coming from the same individuals.
Different people feel differently about the various events. Hypocrisy is a bold and troublesome word.

But since they already got their “scene” in the last update, I doubt it’s them based on how Palmer releases updates. Besides them Marvin and Chris are the only two that would make sense. Idk if Anna knows Chris will be there, if she does then why does she look surprised. My guess is Chris or Marvin

It sort of has to be so that makes sense and I'm just hoping for story sake that it means not using Jake nearly as much as the original story does. Even reading the story I felt like it was very one-note and suffered for focusing on him.

Jake is the only character whose sex with Ana can reveal Kendra's plan. If David catch Ana having sex with anyone else like his friends, Hank, Grant or anyone...Kendra didn't set them up...David can catch Ana with anyone of those and get separated ...Kendra doesnt need to bother collecting evidence to show it to David that Anna is cheating...she will remain free without getting caught and David/Anna will get separated..

And even if David catch Kendra that set him up from anyone whether investigator or through Alexia, it doesn't make sense if he catch Anna doing sex with lets say Chris. There is no need to prove that Kendra is behind all these thigns... They will get separated anyways in that scenario..Just an example if David has proof that he's innocent after meeting Alexia, then why the Fuck Ana's doing sex with Chris/Rob/Hank/Grant/Leonard? Kendra didn't set them up. What excuse Anna will give to David that he will forgive her? Anna has to explain to david that she's doing sex with them to take revenge on David lol? David will forgive Kendra in that case for opening his eyes rather than Anna. And he will marry kendra after that.

So like it or not Jake, Marvin or Chip and Dale sex with Anna needed to be get caught by David to prove Kendra is behind all these. As of now David doesn't know Marvin, Chip and Dale exist and I don't think he will catch Ana with them. So that's how Jake role is important for the story .... his sex with Ana can reveal that everything is a part of Kendra's plan.

Yes, I also find Jake to be a rather uninteresting character. He represents the possibility of a romance with vanilla sex.
On the other hand, Jake can play an interesting role in the story. Jake has desired this woman for years but has never had a chance. Only Kendra's intrigue opens a way for him to get closer to Anna.
He sees himself as the good guy in this evil scheme. Although he is involved in it, he believes himself to be something like a white knight for Anna—protecting her, if possible, from the worst consequences of the scheme.
But what happens to his ego when he finds out that Anna has already had sex with Marvin or with the other two guys from the office before Jake could make his move?
I don't know what MP is planning, but Jake's character is such that he could become Anna's worst nightmare. With his “male honor” wounded, he could really hurt and break Anna because she has romantic feelings for him.
Similarly, Kendra could then use him to hand David the evidence of Anna's infidelity, thus remaining completely in the background and hiding her involvement in the intrigue from David.
I also find it interesting whether Anna ever finds out about Jake's involvement in the intrigue.
Jake, as uninteresting as he is as a sex partner, can give the story a few nice and perverse twists.

On the route I'm running, Jake is the only conspirator who appears to be having conscience issues over the deception. I agree that he's jealous of Marvin when Marvin appears to be closing in but the one thing I find interesting about Jake is that he has the ability to blow the whistle on the whole deception and appears to be considering doing just that. He knows about the malware and theft from Darren's company, the fake "David cheats" scam, Janet's attempts to destroy Anna's psyche, her marriage, and her career... ...if Jake decides to, he could blow the whole thing open by telling Anna the truth about everything. His inner monologue suggests to me that while he still would love to score with Anna that he has accepted that it likely won't happen for him.

I don't think the developer will allow this reveal, but it adds some interesting intrigue for me.

What you say certainly seems to fit better with what I perceive as the dev's mindset but... ...I guess we'll see.
