One of the most memorable games on the site, and it's not even a fapper. Just fun to read. Only wish it was longer.

It's amazing how just a little effort and fun with the writing can put even a short text game like this so far above the horde of drab that is regular here.

Give it a play. It won't take much of your time.

    Version: 1.03

Playtime: About 20-30 minutes if you want both endings

Visuals: 99% text based though the take on using art instead of visuals was interesting.

Story: Complete nonsense. English isn't the authors first language but instead of the Engrish we normally get with Russian authors we get really weird dialogue that makes no sense.

Mc meets girl in pub and has 3 choices:

    I love you
    I'm afraid of you
I feel nothing when I look at you

Thats legit like the first thing he says to this girl and all the dialogue is written like that. But don't worry your choices don't matter at all because the first three choices you make which are mostly internal dialogue determine the ending of the game anyways. Author also trys to weave light hearted comedy one moment and brutal rape the next and not only do those two not mix well IMO but the weird syntax makes them mesh even worse.

Author has a weird idea of what is a "pleasant" ending

The game is wittingly written and most interesting.
I was on the edge of my seat for most of the time trying to bring Natasha to bed and achieve a good ending, sadly, only the former was succeded.
The music should be completely removed or added in order to fill the too many silence pauses.
Anyway I enjoyed it, just a little bit sad that I couldn't achieve the good ending with 5 replays from zero

The Quaint Tale is a perfect example of how much difference a good writer makes.

Instead of weak convoluted personalities you have simple and effective archetypes.
Instead of witless horny babbling -- joyful power struggles.

It feels wrong to attach any superficial tag or genre, no matter how obviously related, because it's not going to do this game justice, but yes, this is indeed an "NTR" game.

However, rather than mulling over yet another half-baked story of meaningless infidelity, this tells a tale of masculinities and femininities of various degrees and sorts clashing against and with each other, and what comes after.

This game is a massive tease, much like its heroines, if not because of its unfortunate length, then for the depressing fact that you simply won't see many other games like it.

Really bad, very little description with some description even being in the minimal choices.

There is humor if you into that though personally find it detracting for its dark setting.

The choices at times don't seem to match what happens either and feel forced narrative that ignore them later.

The pics and music are just random and question why 1/2 the time listening to nothing and 1/2 listen to some random music bit.

But again worst offence is for something that is just text (art is pointless just background artsy stuff). ->
Like you walk into tavern and pray the girl you enter with is your lover (a literal choice otherwise is I fucked her right?!) and then you run into some girl and say you love her ?_! and you call her very energetic etc... without her doing anything..

    +1
For attempt at making it artsy as that unique so deserves credit for least trying to be something different.

    It Very Very Short so if you want to kill 10minutes reading you walk in a tavern with a girl and then see a tomboy slut gal who has a far to strong rapist guy ... this happens ... years later weird extra short epilogue;
Then give it a go no harm done.

Probably one of the most unique text based NTR game I've played. In terms of graphics and visuals, there's not too much. But the brilliance of this game is the word play, as well as the Disco Elysium-esque humor. I would say that a game that's longer with the same style of writing will be a bad idea. It works well for a game of its size and one that doesn't take itself too seriously. I believe the author of this game is a brilliant writer and I would consider subscribing to a full length, text based game with some choices. Sadly the lack of explicit sex scenes in this game takes away from the "porn" aspect of the game. But a brilliant piece of work anyway. The writing in this small game is high quality, much better than some of the games you see on this site with much longer game time and Patreon donations.
