Obviously, the above artist will most likely never read or implement this idea, but I wanted to share it anyway: a young man, aged 18 in a [Not-Ukraine] country is the only child of a single mother. The family is not wealthy, and conscription of the son looms heavily over their heads - they cannot send him overseas, as they cannot bribe the officials, they cannot pretend he has an illness or something, and university no longer provides an exemption from service. The mother, terribly worried for her son's future, makes a radical proposal - change his gender to female, so that he can leave the country and escape what she considers certain death or disfigurement.
However, it is not as simple as ticking a box to say 'female' in his passport - no, a certain amount of transitioning has to be done to pass the border control, bureaucracy, etc. Our main protagonist, of course, is highly sceptical that this would work, but does not object to it in theory - after all, he would like to escape [Not-Ukraine] anyway, and simply pretending to be a woman at border control doesn't seem that humiliating or difficult.
The story then takes on a cyclic format: first, the medical commission sees a pretty ... manly looking 'woman' appear in front of them, and obviously reject him from his requested gender change. Next, he shows up with makeup, having lost weight, shaved everything, etc. Rejected again. Well, he's not very enthusiastic to continue, but, has a close call with a mobilisation officer on the street - mother panics, however, and pressures him to try more convincing methods. Estrogen and targeted butt exercise, corset, etc., but again, rejected. Remember, the [Not-Ukraine] is a very corrupt country, and it isn't easy to pass the 'test', so to speak, naturally, without bribes.
At this point, the next step is some kind of surgery... but that is expensive. So expensive, in fact, that the family cannot afford it. However, it's either surgery (reversible!) or conscription and death (irreversible!). So, she finds a 'sponsor' for her son's operations, who pays for them. But nothing is free in life, and eventually, when the boy (or girl, now) passes the test and escapes [Not-Ukraine] is promptly smuggled by the sponsor to a special brothel or similar institution. The end.
I think this scenario is quite interesting because it adds at least a semi-plausible aspect to the forced feminization that LilTKit's comics often have. Also, you could add some pretty comedic (or tragic, depending on how you look at it) scenes - the guy playing video games online, and people thinking he's a girl based on the voice. Or, towards the end of his (not entirely willing) transition, him trying to escape by applying to join the military, but being rejected for some BS reason, unless he volunteers to 'serve' some commander.
Thoughts?
