That's a decent game for what it is at v0.50, got me hooked up for few hours, just exploring and fighting mobs, as i try it for the first time. I want to say so much, but from where to begin with? One is clear, didn't felt like a 5 star game to because few points which i'm gonna mention.
+ I loved the freedom of movements, exploring and fighting. Obsolutely stunning. When in most games the word grinding is something unpleasant and being a burden, here feels nice. Might be because i don't play so often rpg games, so i can easily find out that one the most interesting so far, beating out way more popular titles. There's a randomized aspects, where you don't know when and where mobs gonna spawn, or what they gonna drop. A real epitome of a game, which can hold the game on it's own for now, as it lacks content in other areas.
- I hate how slow the new day starts. There should be an option to just jump out of bed and enter faster the dungeon. All that slowly proceeding repetitive text every morning is tiresome, and non the less the long way to the dungeon's entrance at the end of the map. Basically all of that feels like it takes you as much time(if not even more), as the time you spend in the actual dungeon itself. There was a mention in the game that there might be something like a portal for fast reach, but i never found it. Idk even if it's in the game yet. If it's not, hope it's gonna be added sooner.
- Buggiest game ever! No doubt.Funny how spending so much time in developing that huge pile of empty territories that's still not in use, transform into the lack of spending a little time of playing your own game after each update, to discover that buggs and errors and fix em. They are terrible and gameplay killers.
The avatar's movements got frozen each time you fight and get hit by that big white bird.
Melee weapons doesn't show up or work either, if you want to play with such. Idk what cause it, perhaps putting in use any of the range weapons, since at the beggining the sword and the stick worked perfectly fine. I think it happened after i found the fire bow.
The game errored and crashed after i killed that bunny-girl creature in the dungeon.
And all of that i've experienced in my short gameplay. I assume there's way more errors and buggs to be discovered.
- Not a fan of the save/load menu, i guess it's something usual for an rpg game, but still i doesn't like it. We have to be able to do saves whenever, not only during the night in the house.
It's understandable the game is in it's very beginning of developing. That's why i don't want to mention as negative points the lack of ...
I guess futher content with the imouto is on the way, but except that, won't be bad if we see a bit of MC developing, as skills and armor for him to use, not only weapons as of now.
I hope to see more text or even more story explanation. We had by one sentence at the beginning what eventually might've happened to the parents, and that the imouto has some kind of vampiric condition, which force the MC(her brother) to enter and scavenge the dungeon in search for cure. But nothing further more.
!!! I think some kind of journal would be a HUGE HELPER. It's mandatory for an rpg game to have such of some kind. So you can track more easily your progress, and not search the forum every time you get stuck. It would be important to know you have reached the end of the content for the current game version. It could be journal-encyclopedia type, where you could include useful information of all kind - as monsters for example, their types and weaknesses, stats, etc.
