A Social Discussion - Bluesky

For the longest time, adult communities and content creators have only had Twitter as their main outlet that would accept adult content.

Man-baby-Musk then took over Twitter and called it X. For some stupid fucking reason. Since then, the future of Twitter/X has been doubtful. It's on it's way down.

Now, for the average user, if you're not paying for Twitter Premium, you won't get noticed on the platform. Not only that, but outlets also have to pay for access to their API.

Things are getting crazy. But we have to ask, where do we go from here.

There are alternatives.

The biggest and best for the adult gaming community right now is Bluesky.

Bluesky is like a carbon copy of Twitter. It's what Twitter used to be before Space Karen messed it all up. A free space where everyone can get equal access and exposure.

I have no affiliation with Bluesky or any other company. My only concern is for the adult gaming industry.

I want to make sure that our industry has a free and open space in which we can promote titles, equally and fairly.

Bluesky is it.

Bluesky accepts adult content. Bluesky does not ask you to pay for exposure. Bluesky offers a fair standing for all creators.

We have to pay for Twitter Premium to get noticed. We don't have to pay on Bluesky. But who here wants to give Man-baby-Musk more money!?

I personally stayed away from Bluesky for a long time. But since signing up to it, I've actually liked it, it does feel like the old Twitter.

We also have the likes of Mastodon, however, it's onboarding isn't as simple as Bluesky for the average user right now.

If developers start to move over to the likes of Bluesky (or Mastodon), your supporters will start to follow in order to stay up to date with you, and I can only see that as being a huge win for the entire community.

I would love to hear the community's opinion on this.

It's pretty good, and fun to use. I made for our team yesterday, loving the site so far!(y)
