VN - Others - Completed - A Strange Night [kross]

The game was released in 2017 and, after 8 years, its visual aspects have become noticeably dated. The animations appear awkward, although some sequences are well-executed and could even be included in an adult game on Steam. The character models seem a bit odd, but they fit well in sex scenes. Overall, the graphics weren't bad for 2017, but today, they certainly look outdated. There's a notable lack of background music and minimal voice acting, which detracts from the overall atmosphere.
There is a plot in the game, but it is not the main focus. The characters are not very well developed, and there is not much written text. However, the dialogue is adequate for the amount of content. If the story is average, the graphics are outdated, and the sound is minimal, then what keeps players engaged for several hours?
The answer is the excellent gameplay mechanics. The developer has a good understanding of how to create interactive visual novels. There are choices and mini-games that add variety to the experience. Although there are some minor issues with the flirting system (the sequence of cards doesn't change), these are minor complaints. Overall, it is an interesting game to play, especially if players want to unlock all the scenes for achievements.
In summary, the game may be outdated in terms of visuals, but the gameplay is still enjoyable. It is similar to other games like Being A DIK in terms of mechanics. However, players shouldn't expect a groundbreaking story, stunning graphics or amazing sex scenes.

A very high-quality game in all aspects. I have completed all the achievements and can say that I haven't had time to get bored. There are many different ways to play, and the scenes and graphics are beautiful, even now. The dialogue is engaging and I don't want to miss it. This game is definitely worth 5 stars.

story (4/5): The story is good although somewhat short but the thing is that the decisions lead to different endings which is appreciated, the MC has motivations and the other characters are developed although not in a deep way, in the end the game entertains you with multiple decisions.

audio / sfx (2/5): There is no audio or sound effects although you don't need it as much considering that it looks like an old game.

animations (4/5): For an old game it has loops and good positions it has a good character design although I think the girls have the same body type

scenes and sex stuff (4/5): The scenes are good and most of them are hot and as I said before it has loops which is to be appreciated.

It installed easily without any complications or glitches. The story is ok with not much plot or character development, and the english translation is lackluster at best. I also wish there were more options (like DMD) and some of the endinsgs aren't really very good conclusions.

On the other hand, the visuals are great and the characters are appealing (rounded but not huge asses), and for being lableed as a VN, it has several mini-games to add interest to chat and flirtation episodes. Overall, I thought it was pretty darn good and worth the time spent.

This is an awesome short game. About two hours of play time to see all endings. Don't forget to try both types of pills!

The animations are a bit simple, but the 3D models of the girls are excellent and make up for it. All three girls look great!

Underrated and under-played game. Not the most amazing story, but what do you expect from something so short? At least it has meaningful choices that really matter.
