Ren'Py - A Very Full House [v0.36.6] [MetaMira]

Great story and the art has potential one day, but god damn does this game really bog you down with the sandbox. Incredibly specific timings with no hints whatsoever. A lot of dead ends. Money grinds. Time wasters.

Has potential but the dev really needs to add some better directionality if they want to have this much sandbox. Add some hints. Some of the best games have them.

Absolutely my favourite game, always a blast when an update comes out.
The game has been interesting and yes i know some people get lost at times but the devs really put their all into improvements and content unlike others who just leave you hanging for years. Wish they could get help to speed up the process but for now i wait and enjoy

A breath of fresh air when it comes to Ren'Py point and clicks. Genuinely excited to see what's to come. The first game I've played from the perspective of the MILF, and done so well and entertainingly at that.

it has potential to be very good.

the gameplay systems it has are the main meat of the game. instead of clicking through dialogs to access a scene, you have to balance your actions to get to what you want.

also the tailor system is a very good way of presenting the progress of the corruption. combined with the clothing system, it has potential to be a very good 2D game with very dynamic idle animations instead of just pngs.

keep it up! i'd like to see more content in the mall and in school.

I like the art style and the content is appealing, maybe an expansion on content could be nice to see, maybe having something like a pregnancy or more corruption plot points anyway very appealing good job and hope to see more soon

This game is among my all time favourites. It reminds me a lot of older adventure games, but in a non-linear form. The content is a lot like a text-base game, but it's use of Live2D to make the scenes and characters feel more alive is exactly what I think text game developers should be doing.

There is a lot of asset re-use with repeated sex animations, but I feel this is a direct upgrade to the gameplay and content of most text-only games. And while character customization isn't a heavy focus so far, the way it's developed is smart and forwards thinking, with systems in place to dynamically change the scenes based on choice of clothes, underwear and the like.

On the topic of smart design, tanning is a perfect example of customization done right. Your tan lines not only depend on the swimsuit you used, but the tanning is coded in a way that you can alternate the swimsuits between tanning sessions. Seeing the tan build up and change over time as you get sluttier swimsuits is great! The dev is doing a good job on building systems like that to give it a sense of life that text-based games don't have.

Gameplay:
The gameplay loop consists of trying to live the life of the MC while trying to do your daily chores, where your goal is to corrupt the MC and her family. You can offload the chores to the family and with enough corruption, you can start replacing the bad chores with sexual ones by offering to help them out.

The interesting part is trying to figure out as many scenarios where and how to corrupt yourself and others. Some examples, ask someone to do a yard chore and then tanning in the yard while they are doing it and figuring out that you can send Madison and Billy to the basement at the same time if you anger her to clean by attempting to clean her room while she is in there, then sending Billy to do the laundry. There's enough similar situations to give that old-school adventure game feel, but with enough options to rarely make you feel like you can't progress somewhere.

Conclusion:
Over all, I love this game. It has some issues, but in my opinion, practically all of them are part of it being in development. With this being a sandbox game, the signs of things being in development tend to show up all over the place, since there isn't a linear end to it. But thanks to it's design choices, even a mostly mechanics side update like the most recent one (0.35) got a few sexual scenarios added.

The simplest way to describe this game would simply be that the grind is not worth the reward. Even cheating it takes way too long to advance this game only to realize there are no CG's at all. Only animations that pop out on the current background of whatever room you are in. These animations are reused multiple times so you may grind for a few hours to see 4 animations.

I cannot recommend this game, I really liked the art and was hoping to enjoy the game despite its shortcomings but it was not enough.

Gameplay - 2/5
It’s grindy. It could be worse and isn’t as bad as some others, but it’s pretty bad. There are lots of stats to manage which requires a lot of repetition of certain scenes. The game is also confusing at times with many scenes requiring certain chores to be active or for you to talk to a certain character at a certain time on a certain day at a certain location and you have no idea of knowing what those prerequisites or chores are other than guessing or trial and error. Honestly it’s not that bad if you use the mods, walkthrough, and the forum but those are 3rd party and not part of the game, but they’re a must use if you want to play.

Writing - 4/5
It’s porny writing, I don’t mean that in a bad way but just so you know what to expect. That being said it’s done well and does a good job setting up an erotic atmosphere. Loses a point because a lot of scenes are similar to each other by taking place in the location as so many other scenes (like a bedroom) or being similar too similar to other scenes for other characters.

Art - 3/5
It’s different and unique, in a good way though. The character models are done well. The background are ok. The animations aren’t as high quality as the character models but they’re not bad. But overall the art is simple. Models are integrated into the scenes, just imposed over a background. The arts not bad but it’s nothing special.

Porn -2/5
This category would normally be covered in the art, but for this game it has to be separate. There are no CGs or images for the porn. Only animations, and those animations are shown in little squares imposes over the background and between the characters models on either side. That’d be ok but it’s made worse by the fact that the animations aren’t at weird angles with weird framing. For example, a blowjob animation gives the side profile from neck to nose and a penis. You never get a full shot or POV of what’s actually going on. You never see the entire face of head.l of the mom. But the worst part is there are only like 6 or 7 animations n the entire game. Every blowjob for every character uses the same animation for example. There’s only one baginal sex animation for every position, so once you’ve seen one animation for one type of sex act you’ve seen every animation. It really makes grinding out the scenes feel bad and not rewarding when you’re just presented with the same old animation you’ve seen over and over again.

Overall it’s a 3/5 game. If you’re into really Grindr games and also are able to get off on just writing then maybe it’d be higher for you, but if you want visuals too this game is lacking because again, there is only 1 animation for every sex act for every character and it gets boring after a while. But before it gets boring it’s pretty good.

I don't review alot of games here but this is a 10/10 we need more games like this! The art is amazing and the characters are all perfect and the fact you are the mom instead of the kids makes it a better story! Can't wait for next update!

Very promising, I know the art doesn't attract much attention, but the story and situations make up for it, at the time of writing this review there are still many place holders, but the story is interesting and how little by little the corruption is rising.

I’ve been following the game since its early stages, and yes, objectively, it has many flaws if you compare it to high-quality games. But the thing is, it’s not trying to be that kind of game. It’s meant to be a simple sandbox with clear gameplay—no flashy story or deep character development. And in that regard, I think it does its job well.


That said, there is one major issue with the current development. While it’s great that character corruption naturally unlocks more content as you progress, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to figure out how to trigger new events for each character. You need to meet very specific criteria, such as certain stat values, specific tasks, and being in the right place at the right time on a specific day—just to trigger a single event for one character. Considering that the story is still in its early stages overall, this approach doesn’t feel right—it’s simply not fun or intuitive.

For now, I’ll give it 4 stars in the hope of a "Quest" overhaul.

Art is never on firstplan for me. I loved the game because of the slow and innocent corruption. I wish i see this approach in other games. And art is also very fine. I even more liked it! I cant wait to see other members corruption on themselves 3 I played many games but this one is special...

you have to spend hours looking at forums and guides to trigger a simple scene that is a png with some movement effect on it. if you do play the game think of it as a text based game its more of a talk dont show type of game.

I can't give any more score to a game that necessarily requires you to seek help on a forum/walkthrough
The idea is entertaining, but after 3-4 hours of gameplay it's too monotonous and grindy.
It's not obvious what you need to do to progress in the corruption branches.
I wonder what the final version will turn out to be, but until then, I don't want to touch this project anymore.

Solid game, with an original theme, and good tags.

The art is somehow charming, despite how crude it often looks. The H is fairly erotic, and passable; even in this state it's abundant enough for the sandbox theme.

As people have mentioned the grind is a major flaw in it, but with all of the available cheats and codes to circumvent that, it makes it more fluid and playable. More than anything I feel it needs more freedom for paths as a sandbox; there's certain parts of the game/outfits/scenes that are hard locked behind almost hidden dialogue, or events. More content would be a bonus, but the developer very actively works on and updates the game proper.

Very good art, fun gameplay loop and not overly grindy, the tasks can get a bit annoying but I do not have any real complaints, I am waiting for more opportunities to cut clothes even more. This has become one of my favourites and I look forward to the future updates

While actually a very good game, it is ruined by the following:
1. The grind is way over the top. And that's using the grind reducer.
2. The UI is pretty bad, it could have helped making the grind a bit more survivable.
3. The grind, it's so so bad.
4. Events have dumb triggers. Specific time and days for events, that requires specific chores to be active. If there was a way to skip days, and a decent guide to tell you about these events, it would have been less bad.

I like a slow burn game like this, but after over 8 hours I'm only almost though how far the guide covers. And again, that's using the grind reducing cheat, and that only get's you to blowjobs.

Try it if you have the stamina and time to spare. It's good but could have been amazing.

Really good game with consistent development cycle and dev that listens to feedback.

Theme wise the game focuses on corruption the main milf and everyone around here by gradually infringing on people boundaries till they cave.
Big plus is here playing from perspective of 100% certified milf which is rare but other cast of characters are also great, my favourite being bottom heavy redhead daughter.

Gameplay starts rather tedious by design as it is an incentive to corrupt your family and hence offload some of the tedium onto them. If you grasp that concept the gameplay becomes rather pleasant.

Last point that I mentioned at beginning, dev has really consistent release schedule and is transparent in his dev process so I ended up supporting him on subscriberstar.

Great game, the new UI really reduces the grind a lot, highly recommended for everyone who hasn't (recently) played it.
I'm more into the female characters (Cheer, Firebrand/Madison, Busty, Goth) and f/f stuff and that has also gotten much more content., with a few very cool things and events added to them. Really like the interaction between the MC and Madison in front of the tv with the opportunity to pass out some well deserved punishment. That story line has soo much potential . The MC / Madison encounter at the shopping mall also led to an exciting activity, with Madison seemingly interested in Goth - very promising as well!

In short: The style is an acquired taste. Though, it's rather lacking in the pussy department. Like, it's not too far behind detail wise. It's just very... lackluster. Everything else is hyper. And it's just... kinda there, barely existing. It could be fixed if it was fleshed out a bit and got some energy.

Anyhow: The gameplay loop is very hate it or love it. As you are stuck with forced chores, whether you want to pursue that path or not. Basically side quests you cannot skip or you automatically game over. Didn't want to romance a specific character? Tough. Do it, or else.

And lastly: All female characters feel extremely underused. Like, they all share the same lackluster genital model. (Granted, most males share a near identical model too. But, that at least has some variety, along with being over the top.) Like, none of them really have any goal except to be NPC's for male character's goals.

Which, gets a bit extra dumb when each character effectively has the same "stat sheet". Number of orgasms, facials specifcally, etc. And: The stats are basically flipped. On male characters, it means cumshots given. On female chars, it means cumshots received. Plus, that you can't even "do stuff" with them, makes it feel extra moot.

So, the fact you can turn all male characters into horny little sluts... yet the female characters kinda just... stand there. Staring into the wall blankly going "Insert girder!". This could be fixed in later versions ofc. But for example: Nearly all males have some sort of quest or goal. And there's a female one you can encourage to visit the glory hole. Pretty solid stuff. But... there's no equivalent. Like, sure: Female glory holes are super rare, so I wouldn't expect that. But, the fact there's just... nothing, feels really weird. A female char that's a horny little shit that wants to squirt all over some guy feels missing. The game IS very railroaded however. So, possible the goal is for all female characters to practically be celibate nuns that are reluctant cocksluts.
