so i had problem with opening renpy game. the window would close the second it appeared on screen. after 2 week trying to fix it (deleting persistent file and all) i found a post on github buried in google search about the razer tartarus making renpy crash, and it suggested to unplug the keypad to make the game work, since i have one i tried it......
it worked......all game opened, i closed them to reopen them because they would rarely start under a blue moon on friday the 13. they opened again, again and again. i plugged the keypad back and they went back to crashing. its weird since i have this keypad for at least 2-3 year. i do not know if it is on razer side or renpy, but the only fix as of now is to unplug.
so if others like me that have a problem with renpy game crashing and have a razor tartarus. unplug it when you want to start your game. if it still crash i sadly do not have an answer.
