It's interesting, makes no sense, has some proofs/evidence and has been addressed before but bringing it up and showing proofs will get you banned so...?
We can only speculate and assume there are some ties to certain devs and people on this site. I'll leave it there.
It's been shown that L&P would have zero legal recourse or standing (along with being an IP thief in his/their own right) but somehow this pirate site will hold some of his work sacred. Some stuff can be pirated, some can't.
Again, we can only speculate. It's like if a gaming pirate site allowed the base game but no DLC, lol. Post links to the DLC and they'll delete it and ban you...but the base game is ok.
Oh, and the base game and DLC for most other games is fine! Pirate those all you want. These few specific games? Just the base game.

They were cropped and such, so the mods likely thought they were more of the spam/OT/AI images that commonly get posted in this thread. More reason to not post those types of things, posters end up getting fooled into thinking they're previews. And actual previews get mistaken as spam by the mods.

L&P's reward for people that fund his project isnt special renders of characters in various naughty, but non-canonical, scenes, like so many other games and their dev.
Nor is it early access to the game because there is an eventual public release. For instance, you can talk all of the shit about the development boondoggle surrounding one of the highest earning Patreon games out there, Summertime Saga, and it deserves the ridicule for the last few years of development, however, it is and has always been a free game to download and play, and never been behind a paywall.
No, what is L&P's reward for the people that put up almost the cost of a new AAA game each month? He gives them some teaser renders from the upcoming update. That's the shit that is supposed to drum up hype for people to want the next update, but he puts *that* behind a paywall.
The base game vs DLC is the wrong analogy.
The correct analogy is base game vs trailer / gameplay demo.

It's pretty normal. A lot of people don't bother to switch to different subscription service, especially for something they've subscribed to a few years ago and often simply forgot about, or thought the small fee wasn't a hassle but now see no point in doing it again.
