Since AWAM is a native 720p game I took it upon myself to upscale the entire game into 1080p due to boredom and paranoia during this pandemic.

Yeppp, give or take around 8,270 renders all the way from the flight scene to the end of version .100.
The file size of my 1080p version is close to the original 720p version so yayyy.

I had to choose and settle between algorithms for the renders to look passable across various different screen sizes and resolutions and I didn't want the 1080p end product to have too many artifacts so, here you go :giggle:.

Please feel free to let me know if you find any artifacts. I'll try my best to fix it :)(y)

Unfortunately I cannot write you directly a message. I will highly likely upgrade my hardware after the next playable day to render directly in real 1080p with the same pace I'm doing with 720p now. But for the next update I'd like to talk to you about the upscaling thing. All programs I checked until now free and with costs didn't satisfy me, including Photoshop.

On the topic of Liam cheating, it has been abandoned by L&p (with other storylines like the dinner at the restaurant with their friends couple) . Liam was supposed to be the second MC with his own point of view. But L&p has discarded the idea because it was to much work. That’s why there’s weird stuff at the beginning of the game, like Liam at the lingerie shop or the dinner with the friends that have disappeared from the game.

First of all: I just checked for the new RTX 3090 (I didn't even know about it yet) and that thing has got 10.500 cuda cores (more than twice as much as my current Titan RTX!) and 24 GB RAM. So, after the next playable day I will let me build a system with 4 RTX 3090 and 1080p will render even much faster than currently the 720p. Then I will only need to confer with a programmer about the "patch updates" to reduce the download size. Of course you will get a "proof pic" of that hell machine.
So, after the next playable day, the game will be released in 1080p. For the next update I will try to upscale the 720p to 1080p as an interim solution.
And here's the update plan of playable day 12 (Day 19):
Update 0.115
(Morning)
1) Ellie
2) Vicky
3) Liam (Good Wife route) OR Don Morello

Update 0.130
(Noon)
1) Nursing home (1st side job) OR home schooling (2nd side job)
2) Aiden's 3rd task (parallelly another surprise event)
3) Emma/Dylan OR Sophia/Dylan

Update 0.150
(Afternoon)
1) Nathalie
2) Dylan/Ellie (very small side event)
3) A little bonus storyline with Sophia (with interesting options for later)
(Evening)
4) Sam

I'm almost done with the story preparation for the next udpate. I will start with the scene creation tomorrow. So, there will be the first teaser soon.
The Vicky, Liam and Don Morello events won't be that huge. Ellie will highly likely be the longest and most elaborate one between them. So, it should be possible to release 0.115 within the next two months. But only if it stays like that. It can also happen that I start working on the events and they will be bigger than expected. Like it was the case the last update. But actually, I don't think so.
I will also try the "live chat translation help" during the programming & translation part to speed this up.

I hoped that Aiden and the side jobs were already in the next update.

Looks like it will take at least 2+2 monhts. :unsure:

That's all well and good, but we all know that it's the scene creation that takes the longest time. Being able to render them faster is fine, but the complexity of the scenes and the amount it takes them to be created isn't likely to change, so will cutting down on rendering times really make that of a difference? :unsure:

More famous last words. I believe they said similar things about the previous update, that certain events wouldn't be very big and they ended up growing exponentially, so I'd suspect it's highly likely to happen again.

More famous last words. I believe they said similar things about the previous update, that certain events wouldn't be very big and they ended up growing exponentially, so I'd suspect it's highly likely to happen again.

Last update was on Sept 11th, today is October 5th , almost passed one month and just now dev is going to start new update. Considering his words is easy to assume that he will take not less than other 2 months to complete the 1.15 Update ( 1/3 of the day 12). this is really a great enhance..... in the step back:ROFLMAO:. We all must reconize that there is something ingenious in the way that he milks. He learned too much from Wirecard:LOL::ROFLMAO:
