Apart from the shota, which before AWAM I'd never come across in a corruption game & which represents a descent from the realistic towards the 'yet another porn game' approach, one of the most unrealistic & porn-driven aspects of AWAM is shaping up to be the supposed 'race' between Sam & Dylan. It is just about believable that Sophia could be attracted to the handsome kid next door. As this is fiction it has to be taken as read that something sexual might occur, with Sophia taking leave of her senses & fulfilling her desires, while making the usual excuses & utilising her very 'individual' logic to justify her behaviour. So far, it could be contended, that the only thing wrong with all of that is that the pacing is off, both in terms of the time involved in San Alejo & the extremely slow rate of storyline roll-out in RL. If all that is disregarded, something had to happen at some point.

When it comes to sex with your own offspring, the son you carried in the womb for 9 months, that's an entirely different matter. He's not just another High School kid with good looks & talent. This need for Dylan to "catch up" by whatever chosen method, so that he & Sam are on some kind of par, is fan driven, has no relationship to RL & needs to be thought through with a great deal of care, if this VN is not to take another leap into the run-of-the-mill porn morass.

This is where you are going to be incorrect. He literally thinks his novel is realistic and not fictional. He thinks that everything that happens in his novel is realistic. Many people have had conversations with him about this very topic with him. He holds true that it's realistic in his eyes. You do realize that sex with the males will most likely happen at the back end of the novel right? Because L&P believes that to be the ultimate sin in her relationship. So I would say if he's cutting this into roughly thirds, PD 24 -30 will be with the males. So besides her husband, all the males are going to have a long way to go. So strap in because if you're following Dylan, Sam, Zac, Aiden, or anyone else you're going to be on this ride for a while. The female cast will get the first crack at her. PD 19 is reserved probably for the female cast if you look at this outline.

I think the catch-up now is based on what you said about race it seems now, plus the factor that there is such a gap between progression, he is trying to bring them in line now. Because if we look at Ellie on the other side of the spectrum, look how quickly she paces up to Sophia, and she is in the same boat as Dylan regarding her relationship with Sophia.

Again, you're misinterpreting what I'm saying to you, which I thought you might have seen what I said to Alley_Cat. L&P believes that his novel is an Erotic Novel and not a porn game. An erotic novel can contain sex scenes. It's just like saying a motion picture contains a sex scene, but it's not a porn movie.

Again, that's a matter of opinion based on how one plays their path. but as it was mentioned before, for example, are you saying the second side job scene wasn't rushed?

If I had to guess, because I think only 3/4 of that day is Sophia/Patricia, the remaining day might be with the hetero group. So it could be Ellie with Logan/Sam/Dylan or Dylan with Ellie/Marie/Emma/Amber/Christine (maybe). This is probably the best guess at this point if you look at the outline he posted for the first and second Lesbian and Hetero events.

So no official word yet. That said, I'm more waiting for the event schedule for PD16, and how many events are "several".

According to their roadmaps, neither Ellie or Dylan are meant to have events on PD15, hence L&P appears to have contradicted himself. I suppose all we can do now is wait for clarification.

I really can't tell you too much now. He sort of keeps a closed lip about most things now. If you look at his PD 14 outline it said provisionally now, so I would expect changes on any PD posted going forward.

I agree that he has too many characters in the novel as is, which hinders the balance altogether. Because if we look at Ellie, now she is going to have to play catch up soon because with Patricia's day on Sunday, I think she is going exceed everyone. but again, we would have to lump her into the realm of Dylan and Ellie too.

Then we come to these ancillary stories that makes me wonder why are they here when Sophia should have enough filthy point and should need much more. The museum guys again, whom we haven't seen since day 2.

- The progression of the game is speeding up.

What will happen (IMO):

Dylan and Sophia will talk about her losing her virginity. Dylan will talk about the fact he still has his, and he feels bad about it. Using the normal logic of this game, Sophia feels bad for him. Dylan jumps on the chance and talks about the time he stole a kiss from her (at the soccer match) and that Sophia was mad about it. Sophia, of course, feels bad for him. Dylan will then ask to kiss her as "practice". Sophia feels conflicted, on one hand, he is her son. But on the other, she already made out with Ellie, Jules and Sam. So she agrees to kiss him.

Then Dylan starts grabbing on her. Predictably, Sophia thinks it's cute and gets hot and bothered. She'll probably be talked into showing herself to him too. After all, it's just "sex ed". Which I believe has been discussed as a theory before.

The same way, she just rationalizes it differently. She has already done a lot of stuff with him. So, is giving him a kiss that big a leap?

- Butt & boob touch.
- Stolen kiss.
- Bath.
- Let him jerkoff to her.
- Bikini show.
- Shown boobs in the changing room.
- Let him touch her underwear a few times.

He is probably, overall, just behind Sam. Sam got the full show this update, but Dylan has had more events overall than he has.

Yes, that's a way to see things but it's not always about the number of scenes. Sometimes it's about the quality of the time the two share with each other and in all honesty Sam has made the biggest progress in making Sophia happy, she feels free around him because the two share the same hobbies.

Sam comes off as the more sophisticated one compared to Dylan. While Sam is more intelligent and mature, Dylan is blunter and more of a jerk. Honestly, they both remind me of the old Goofus and Gallant cartoons at this point.

Aiden strikes me as more of a Goofus than Dylan. Dylan does have both Marie and Emma calling him a "cutie", so I doubt he needs to pay for sex. With the Salon event next, we'll see how far to actually getting laid he might get.

Although I don't play the incest routes, when I can avoid them, I am suggesting that these should be written in a different way to the other relationships. If all we get is some rehash of what has been seen dozens of times in other 3D games & VNs, which have little or no regard to even a shadow of plausibility, IMO that will be both a disappointment & a wasted opportunity. I can only hope that L&P is on form, writing-wise.

When it comes to Jason & Haru, we surely don't need them any more now that Sophia has begun to cheat. Even for those not playing the saga of Sam, I would suggest that the story has outgrown the need for a dubious date with a couple of minor characters, given what is likely to start happening on the more important routes. Making an excuse via a phone call would be a realistic way to avoid them, (nothing personal), leaving more time to devote to the core areas.

Well I agree with you and I already said it that I consider it as a porn game no matter what LP says. And I was only talking about the Sam event not the 2nd side job that's another topic, all I'm saying is that Sam has made the best progress so far because he deserves it and it was realistic IMO as far as a porn logic game is in discussion because no way in hell a mother will have this kind of relationship with her son's friend no matter how you think about it.

I find it telling that the event on the Patricia route that is touted as a hetero event is the one that people are saying can easily be removed.

And speaking as someone that plays the Patricia route, if it were removed would I be upset? Not in the slightest - it would just bring us one event closer to PD15 and the start of the "sex scenes". The museum date is probably the event in my playthrough I'm least looking forward to.

I don't believe we even know if she's getting a hairstyle change or not. From what I've heard about the event to date tells me that the entire point of the event is a continuation for those that played Dylan's POV for the yoga event meeting Marie. Sophia probably doesn't even need to be there.
